@Spoony_Tech: Wow, then you must be really good! I'm happy for you if you have that much fun with it. @TheXReturns: We played Splatoon private battles with 8 players in this thread before, but it just rarely happens that 8 players are online at the same time and want to do it. I think it would still be easier to get 8 players together in this thread than in the other one.
I would play MK8 though, but it would be cool to play in the regular online mode (like someone starts and then everyone joins him/her) instead of the tournaments. Because getting 12 players at the same time would be even harder than in Splatoon.
I'm not really good at Smash though. ^^
About RM on the Museum: Ok, but that still makes more sense. So far I liked the big maps for RM (like Flounder Heights), they are tactically more demanding than straight-forward mapüs like Arowana Mall.
@Shani Probably. But, hey, whatever works to get 8 people or more online at the same time. I'm decent at smash, under for fun rules, but if you put me against someone who plays in professional tournaments, I would get flattened in a matter of moments.
Museum RM is basically a big open plain in the middle, with the five rotating platforms, and it's difficult to make any headway. The metagame will evolve for it though, and I'm suer you will get some knockouts. I didn't experience any knockouts in my time on it.
The Amiibo armour has no multipliers for abilities, so you'll end up with three separate subs, with virtually no chance of getting a three ability set. Or an awful lot of money spent on rerolls...
Plus, some abilities are only really useful on certain equipment. .52Gals and E-Liters being the main thing to take advantage of strength up, whereas most other weapons, the extra damage is negligible.
A puzzle solved is its own reward.

@TheXReturns: Oh right, the amiibo "brand" has no ability advantages. I guess I got a bit lucky today since I was grinding up the Power Suit (?) and both of its subs became Quick Respawn, which is great for me. It's just a shame that I don't like how it looks...
@DreamyViridi Luck has played a huge part in my Splatoon journey. From getting three perfect equipments with only a few re-rolls. (Colourless Contacts with Main of Special Up and 3x Quick Respawn, School Jumper with Main of Ninja Squid and 3x Quick Super Jump, Cream Hi-Tops with Main of Stealth Jump and 3x Swim Speed Up), to getting a 17 win streak from B to A- rank, to getting a further 8 win streak from A to A+, to picking the winning splatfest team twice, to finding my perfect weapon on my second extended period of playing a weapon exclusively (I'm a Vanilla Roller who dabbles in Krak-On and occasionally .52 deco). It is just trying to make luck swing in your favour. Unfortunately, it seems my luck is running out. I'm at 45 points in Ranked, and I have been for ages. Win, loss, win, loss, the cycle never ends...
@Spoony_Tech Closest I've ever been is #2 at a little flash game called Vortex Run on the Doctor Who Monster Invasion website, back when I used to go under the name VictiniForever. (TheXReturns is my fourth pen-name, as I've gradually grown out of the others. I've been using it for a while now, and I think it'll stick. My first was TheX, so I guess my name makes sense, in an odd way.)

@TheXReturns: I know what you mean in terms of luck. I surprised that I'm Rank A despite being just Lv. 28. The new Museum stage is great, I already understand its layout but I'm scared to play Ranked on it lest I lose my A game, literally!
@DreamyViridi Would you be up for private battles, 4pm GMT tomorrow? I'm also a pretty low level for an A+ rank (38, when everything else seems to be level 47-50)

@DreamyViridi: Well I've played about 6 games of each ranked mode on the new map and most weapons fair well, chargers especially 3K are good for zones as it is hard to flank enemy's.
@TheXReturns: Privates? Sure, don't see why not. I'll let you know if I can't make it. @Jazzer94: Yeah, it seems like a nice neutral stage where most weapons will work. I've only recon'd how RM works on it and I imagine that matches can get a bit crazy considering where the goal is placed...
@shani: They added climb-able platforms in a bunch of places. You don't even have to touch the two huge platforms to win, and there are two paths to get to the RM platform, which is on the platform closest to your base. There's this cool thing where you can ride one of the huge platforms and shortcut into the base though; it's really neat to pull off.
EDIT: Wait where'd this whole extra page come from...lol!
I would have never guessed Weezing was so useful until I played a HeartGold Nuzlocke! My YouTube Channel! Video game related, of course! My Pushmo Levels
