Thats it for me also dinner time ^_^ That 3v4 tower was just bad. I need to get better at tower. That goku guy was prett good i think he whent super saiyan XD
Some questions since I'm still new at this game (I do like it a lot more now though and it's addictive) :
1. What is the difference really between your level and your rank? I am level 10 now but my rank is a C-.
2. So far, all I've played online is the Turf Wars, which I like a lot, but once I got to level 10 and tried a ranked game, it was something like Tower Wars or something and even after reading the description, I don't really understand it. My team lost within about one minute. Is it as fun as the Turf Wars and can someone explain to me what exactly you're supposed to do to win?
3. If you finish the Campaign mode, do you unlock more clothes?
#1 Your level is more about unlocking new clothing and weapons plus time played then anything. Your rank goes up or down depending on how well you do in those battles team wise. Its more of a show of how good you are then anything.
#2 Your team needs to ride the tower to the other team base. Usually one person will ride it and the other will help defend the person on the tower. While on it you can jump off to better defend yourself and the hop back on if they don't take control but you only have about 10 second before it will return to the middle again.
#3 Yes, I believe it's an Octo armor set up. I have it just haven't used it yet.
@Rexcalibr: Beside the Tower mode which is called Tower Control, there are two other ranked modes called Splat Zones and Rainmaker. In Splat Zones there is a specific area on the map that you have to focus on. Whorever's ink color is more on the area, that team will be "in control". Until the other team who is not in control inks most of the area, the other team will remain in control. When a team is in control, a countdown will begin from 100. Don't let the other team's countdown reach zero or you lose!
The other mode is Rainmaker, where you try to get the rainmaker weapon the to other team's base. It sounds weird, I know, but it's really fun! The rainmaker is inside a barrier, so you have to shoot the barrier and make it explode before you can get the rainmaker. This is where it gets fun. If you have the rainmaker, you can only shoot large inzookas, and can't super jump. Your teammates will try to protect you so you can get to the goal. In order to win, you must slam the rainmaker on the other team's pillar.
I know you only asked about Tower Control, but I thought this information might come in handy too.

Just to add to this, when in splat zones if you get the timer started and say it counts down to 75 and lose the zone and control you will be assessed a penalty of so many seconds. I been on a few games where we got the main timer all the way down to 1 and got a 75 second penalty. It takes forever to get off but at least it makes the other team have to get a knockout.
One last thing, in any ranked mode if you're trailing and have control as the time runs out you go into overtime. If you can get your points just one point under the other teams you win if the other team can take back control before then it's game over. If you lose control for a short time the game will sometimes allow you to quickly get it back other wise you will lose as well.
Thanks for the info. I do like the Turf Wars but I'm going to have to try the other modes and maybe learn some more weapons because all I really use is the Paintroller with the kraken special move (the kraken isn't as bad as I thought since it seems like it gives you invincibility). Does anyone know how many different kinds of clothing, shoes and headgear there are in total?

Playing with different weapons is like a totally different game. And trying out different weapons also makes you understand what your opponents strengths and weaknesses are, which is crucial in Ranked mode.
Be aware that the Kraken has some downsides that you might encounter when playing on higher levels. The weapons with fairly good ink speed can deflect the Kraken, and for a short while after the Kraken ends, you have a weak spot were many might try to attack you. So make sure to reach a "safe" location when the Kraken ends.
Each Ranked mode is very different to each other. Tower Control is good for subs like the Splash Wall and the Ink mines, while the Bubbler special can be dangerous to use on that mode. The Inkstrike is a good special for Splat Zones. And so on.
EDIT: One more thing - make sure to visit Judd (the cat) regularly. He tells you many good tips on strategies and other useful things related to the gameplay. He can also give you some coins (up to 1,400) based on your highest winning streak during the current map rotation.
3. If you finish the Campaign mode, do you unlock more clothes?
Yes, and keep in mind that for each boss you beat in the single-player campaign (if you get the Skunken Scroll for the boss level), you'll also unlock new weapons in the weapon shop. The weapons require minimum levels though, so you might not see it in the weapon shop until you've reached a certain level. These are the unlock levels once you beat the bosses.

Sorry for nitpicking on this point, especially when all the replies were amazing, but... no, just no, rank is not only for show off and I don't understand why this wrong concept became common >.< (Althought that's probably because many people use it that way... I did the same mistake once I'm afraid ^^; ).
Rank is used to build matches between people of similar ranks so that players will meet opponents and allies with a similar level of skill, making sure that all rank matches can be fun and challanging for everyone. It's not even something players should care about actually, the more you play, the more likely you'll set on a rank level where you can have the most fun, whatever letter it will be.
At least that's the theory, in practice there are some/many problems in the system, but that's another story ^_^;
Saw this posted on NeoGAF, it's the week-by-week sales comparison for MK8 and Splatoon after release in Japan. Last week, Splatoon had its 4th consecutive week with a substational increase in sales compared to the week before. However, it was Obon week, so the week after that it will undoubtedly be lower.
