Topic: Splatoon - OT

I'm apparently going to be getting a Wii U along with this game very soon! See you guys out in the Splatterfield!

I still think we should have a NintendoLife clan/team for Splatoon.

Well I'm not talking about the game, I'm referencing how the Octopi in in Splatoon look like the Tentacles in DOTT. If that needs it's own thread, then I'm sorry lol.

You didn't specifically say what villain.

@sakurai I thought his reference was rather obvious/logical in a thread about splatoon and its enemies but that's just me.

Man, MasterWario doesn't fit in the Mii name space by one letter. It's really quite disappointing. I could just do MastrWario but it looks weird to me.

Then all I can think of is Cars the Movie (maybe that's what you were getting at idk). Maybe I should do the √Wario like I did on the 3ds, if its on the Wii U.

I wish they would update the controls to use the Pro controller, that i have to use the gamepad JUST to make the jump its not worth it, i love the gamepad, but it doesnt feel right when playing super focused twin stick games IMO

I would have to say if this game didn't have motion control I don't think I would like it at all. I would just get so frustrated if it was twin sucks only. Dojo was not fun at all before the Wiimote pro controller trick.

Hi everyone nice to meet you, my names Aromaiden. I'm pretty new, although I've been on here once or twice, but I was originally a bit to nervous to properly introduce myself due to previous issues I had on a forum. So I find now, to be a good as time as any to say hello.

I feel the same,I tried it with motion control off and I really struggled.You just need to persevere with it until you get used to it,once you do there is no going back.No matter how good someone is with twin sticks,a good motion enabled player will always have the edge over you I think.Besides,the Gamepad adds so much more to my immersion in the game and to the unique experience that is Splatoon.

I'm going to be playing in a bit if anyone cares to add me.
