I was using the splat roller because it helped me rack up quick points in matches and I typically have no issue dealing with enemy players, but you provided me with an intimate reminder that roller users are sitting ducks for truly skilled players.

Was fun though. No matter how well I did my team kept losing those first 3 or 4 and badly at that. It wasn't till I adjusted a bit to focus more on covering areas till I started winning a few. Good games there though. I really can't wait for the friend battle update later this year!

August update is supposed to add a lot of content, yes? I'm looking forward to it.
BTW have you tried any of the ranked battles yet? How are those?

Then explain why Aerospray RG users are almost never under 1000?
Because it's an easy weapon set to use? I use the Aerospray MG (which is the same main weapon as the RG but with different sub/specials) because it's a good general-purpose main weapon that covers lots of paint, and I don't need to practice...
The .56, .96, Paintbrush, Dynamo Rollers and some of the chargers are weapons that are clearly better for some things, but they require more practice for me.
Hey guys, Uhmmmm just picking this title up today. I am super excited! But any words of advice from the way more experienced people?
In addition to what already has been said:
1. Try single player mode a bit first, so you get a good feel for the controls.
2. When using motion control, use the twin sticks as much as possible, only move the Gamepad slightly to aim
3. Visit the shops, Judd, Spyke etc regularly and test different gear and weapons
4. Walls don't count
5. Use "Recon" in the lobby to practice on the stages offline
6. Enjoy!
@Ralizah It was a mixed bag at first but the lower ranks aren't to bad. I'm fighting my way to B rank but it's a slow go. I win 3 lose 2. Then win 2 lose 3. Its fun though and crazy hectic. Definitly a different style of game.

I didn't know because I didn't follow the game that close because I didn't care about a month ago. That direct got my attention though even if I didn't pay close enough attention. The game should tell you that when you load it up.

I just played against @Mk_II (or at least, Mk II NL) and our team lost. Still, I got about 1560P (on the losing team! ) GG!
By the way, everyone should change their Mii names to their NL usernames, so we can find each other easily.
