Yeah, I just finished World 2, and by level 8 I was having a lot of fun...which is good, because now the multiplayer's getting frustrating. I'm not progressing at all, tbh. Might need to look up some tips, because I suck with pretty much every weapon now...

Have you been playing with different clothing and all that? I don't really have any tips, since everyone plays differently. I've been getting better with the Charger weapons, since I like to hide somewhere and attack from there.

I really like the paintbrush, but it has a steeper learning curve than most of the other weapons.

I'm pretty good with the Zapper and Roller now, though

In Turf War at the beginning, I'd suggest painting as much ink as possible while staying out of fire, which will also give you the highest scores. (Quickly swim to other parts if you see an enemy arriving.) Don't paint the walls, other than for traversal purposes. If you have a choice, focus on enemy ink areas rather than unpainted areas, since that will double your team's chances of winning. Stick to one weapon and improve your skills on that. Practice on the maps (using Recon) so you know all possible routes.

Started the night at B+, 80 points and now I'm ending the night at B, 80 points. What an enfuriating night of Splatoon... I know I shouldn't take it so seriously but holy cow am I upset =P

I feel the frustration, man. I finally made it to an A, but after rising to 65 points, I ended the night at A with 0 points. But damn I love it! By far my favorite game of the year.

Took me a while to climb to B- yesterday as most of the matches were back and fourth. The thing is is it's getting more fun and challenging which I like. More back and fourth then just one team dominating the whole time. Plus the thrill of the other team getting their timer to 1 and we come back to win has happened to me twice and that's a nice rush!!

Already seen that. The nice thing was I got to that stage in single player so I know what to expect. That will be a challenging stage for sure. Lots of places to hide but also nowhere to run.

Not sure what level you are at in turf wars but just keep using the starter gun - I think it's called Splaltershot Jr, the one you get for free to start. No matter how many other weapons they offer to sell you you'll do better w/ the starter gun. There are some level 20 people still playing w/ that gun. (I honestly believe they perfected that gun for the game before deciding they needed more than 1 gun in a shooter.) It's the gun w/ the bubbler shield, so just keep painting everything and bubble up when the enemy approaches.
Also, finish world 3 in single player and buy that gun. And don't play ranked battles.
And if a level is unfamiliar to you go play it by yourself. When on the screen to select ranked or friends press Y, it will let you test out any level currently on offer.

A clothing site.

Seems the best combo so far for me is Ink Saver, Ink Recovery Up, and Ink Resistance Up. I tried stealth jump but felt it didn't benefit as much to me as resistance up.

I think it's where its community can create their own clothes (designs and all that) and sell them online. It's also where I got my Erica Hartmann shirt, I love it. lol
