Seems the best combo so far for me is Ink Saver, Ink Recovery Up, and Ink Resistance Up. I tried stealth jump but felt it didn't benefit as much to me as resistance up.
My game play is dependent on the "Recon" ability, since that makes getting back into a game after a splat so much easier. I'm yet somewhat undecided on the rest of the main abilities, but "Ink Resistance Up" is probably there to stay.
When I started playing, I used the "Tenacity" ability, and that helped me in some matches.
"Last-Ditch Effort" is an ability I'm interested in trying out in the future, since those last 30 seconds are crucial to win the game on most maps.
Mmm... about lvl5-6 ? Theres some lvl18-19 from time to time so they could affect the number but i think thats about it.
Thanks! I just wanted to have it confirmed that there is indeed matchmaking in Turf War as well. (I'm on level 20 and the average on all my matches is easily above 15.)

Is disconnecting becoming a thing now? I noticed this frequently in some matches last night.

If there's a "communication error" when the score should be calculated, it most probably means that the server can't be contacted. Since Splatoon is basically a P2P game during matches, server contact only happens during matchmaking, match setup and results.
My son just had a one on one match in ranked mode. He was doing great because of his range but still lost because he worries to much about the one person on the map instead of painting the area. He's sometimes frustrating to watch lol.

a lot of people seems to care about killing instead of painting, the fun thing, if you do care about painting you end up having more kills because you can move more easily and evade ganks faster
is there even a place where you can see your record ? like K/D ratio, W/L ratio, etc... ? I mean... if theres none, why would you even care (not that i care to be fair)
