I noticed that the matchmaking process is still broken in this game. Three games in a row I team up with a bunch of 15 or less against a team of 45+.
I wouldn't consider that broken. The lvls don't have to say anything about competence, maybe there was a reason you got paired with them (play style, for example), maybe those lvl15ers were really good and the 45ers were really bad. There are many players with lvl 45-50 who obviously are not so good or just play Splatoon for fun. Those people have ranks between C- and and B- (at best) and probably rarely play ranked at all.
Besides, I don't see the problem in having mixed lvls in Turf War. As long as I don't have to fight against helpless newcomers in the single digit lvls, everything's fine.
I had a few matches with three chargers recently and although we did fight well, we lost every time.
@yokokazuo Same here, the match where I had everyone as a charger user was pretty close as I managed to take out half of the team so we could take control of the zones again. But then I saw a Dynamo Roller when I looked at my left and it ruined everything haha.
I think it was a Splat (myself), two Carbons and a Dynamo, but I can't remember brilliantly. I remember being pleasantly surprised at a win. (Putting it mildly. XD )
But yeah, you'd need some serious skills to win with four snipers. Or like be playing on RM or something. Some of those maps are very nice for Snipers, like Museum D'alphonsino. (Or so I've been on the recieving end of. XD )
Had a crazy match recently: I was playing Tower Control and we were getting destroyed early on. We eventually rallied back about halfway through the game, but this is when the tables turned. In tower control, the tower only moves when someone on either team is on it with their teams color covering it. When nobody is on it, the tower can move by itself with no reason behind which direction it goes. So of course the tower moves towards our base when nobody is on it. The tower moves a good 5 points back too.We took the tower back after a long fight, and had one final push to the enemy base at the end of the game. In overtime, we lose by 2. The tower moving by itself might have been the difference:( why does it do that???

@Nintendo_Ninja I think it's kind of like Splat Zones. When one team gets control of a Splat zone, the other team will get a penalty added on that they must wait out once they regain control. In Tower Control, if no one goes on the tower for a bit then it will move back to centre. I see it as kind of making if more fair and not too one sided. Plus when you go on the tower again, it moves faster if it has already gone that distance before. (Ex. Brought the tower to 50, when you go on it again from centre, it will move faster until it gets to 50 then go the normal speed again)
Wow, my internet lagged so bad that it was 0.5 Mbps and I kept losing fights as a result. All of a sudden, the lag stopped and I got 10+ kills a match. It's good to know I can literally blame lag for losing
