@NintyMan: I don't get this one. I really don't. I'm probably just gonna wait to see which is least popular and pick that, probably naughty. People talk about EU having lame splatfests...at least I have opinions on them.
I would have never guessed Weezing was so useful until I played a HeartGold Nuzlocke! My YouTube Channel! Video game related, of course! My Pushmo Levels
@MasterWario: I disagree, I find this one interesting. It's kinda asking what your personality is; are you the kind of person to break the rules every once in a while? For better or for worse, I'm a total rule-follower, so I'll be fighting on team nice.
Oh God, "Naughty Fangirl" is going to be a title...
@Kinan: I think this Splatfest is mostly for kids, too. I predict it'll be like Autobots vs. Decepticons. A lot of kids will say that they're nice (or want to pretend they're nice anyway) , or on the good side (autobots), while older people will choose either evil or naughty. And, most likely, the older people will win more games, and thereby win the Splatfest even without popularity.
Also, I'm tired on losing! XD I'm choosing naughty; just like I chose Decepticons. I need Super Sea Snails!!!
@Kinan: Yeah, that's true. I was a pretty precocious little kid when it came to video games. Of course, I'm not looking back too far in the past; I'm only 17. You also reminded me that I'm finally on Team Callie! Hooray!
@Kinan: they already are some of my stream regulars like 3 or 4 are S rank and all still in elementary school. Im wondering if they probably got carried via squads.
Marie is always on the second team, right? I'm not usually on Marie's team. Cats, Art, Pirates, Roller Coasters, they were all Callie. I think Marie's Team usually loses, too; I hope I'm wrong, hehe.
@Blue_Blur: I've found I'm pretty much always on Team Marie myself when I went over past splatfests in the EU. No change at all with the Pizza with/without pineapple splatfest that's coming up this weekend. That and I probably would've chosen team Nice anyway. : p Also, don't underestimate kids too quickly. Only if they're literally just starting out with games, some of 'em might pick up on it faster than we will at our ages. I'm curious to see how it'll pan out.
I would normally agree but I have an 8 year old and he's quite good. Maybe even an S player but he'll never get there because he wants those kills too badly. Our kids are growing up in an era where it's all about the kills. Watching him play in a Splatfest for me is a frustrating ordeal as all I see him do is swim past unpainted areas time and time again. What good is it to get 10 plus kills and lose lol.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
@Kinan: He's at A- and I've seen him do things I would've never though of. I've learned so much just from watching him play ranked yet he takes that same mentality into Splatfest's and loses more times then not. Getting splat in a turf war isn't quite the same as ranked. For instance after my first death I'll paint and surrounding areas around our base he jumps for more fights. If a good number of kids all do the same thing you lose more often then win as a good number of times the team that paints their base the most often wins yet I see him time and time again swim right past big unpainted areas.
I have no doubt there's a good number of kids far better then me at this game. I'm just an old man set in his ways and doesn't like trying something new. That's why I enjoy watching him play ranked but not so much Splatfest's lol.
@SpoonyTech And I think you've just highlighted why loads online seems to be terrible at Rainmaker. They go for kills, not for distance. I keep having to pick up Rainmakers from the inky stains left behind when a player thinks the Rainmaker is a weapon.
Also, @Kinan I think age doesn't really matter too much. It's how well you can adapt. My little cousin's just got mkwii, and she's getting fairly proficient at it. But equally, my uncle's good at it too. I wouldn't really know though, because I'm just slightly younger than @Blue_Blur. It's certainly interesting to see how the views of you and Spoony compare with the younger view on it.
And no matter how good you are at Splatoon, there's always a Japanese sniper better. XD

Now you're just trying to make me salty with that comment. WHERE'S SAID SNIPER, 1v1 ME BRO! (Or gal, if its, a gal.)
In my book it's all those hippity-hoppity-hip-hop-hippity (mostly tentatek) users that annoy the heck out of me. And it's not so much they're better than me it's just that they won't stop hippity-hoppiting.
EDIT: @yokokazuo you sir have just won the internet. 10/10. Literally lol right now.

@TheXReturns: Part of it probably has to do with how many shooters you've taught yourself on before Splatoon, or how well you can adapt yourself to the new goals in this game. For me, Splatoon is the first shooter I've owned (any other time I've played a shooter was a singular instance), so even though my aim is terrible, I was able to learn strategy as easy as learning your first language. I feel like sometimes, players take a break from Halo/CoD/Destiny/Battlefield to play this, and they can't always adapt to a "kills is secondary" mentality. The good news for them is that being able to shoot well goes a really long way, but the highest kill count isn't always what wins games.
Hey @yokokazuo, up for another round of squid squads?
