We did decent either we were bopped or did the bopping, there weren't to many stalemate matches.

Sorry for doing so bad today, I just can't seem to catch a break with the losing streaks lol.

Japan's splat fest has begun with the maps Kelp Dome, Hammerhead Bridge and Museum d'Alfonsino.

I've been playing for an hour and haven't played on the museum once...

As soon as Japanese splafest starts super empty lobbies XD

@ELI-ASH haha really? I do believe that at least close to half of Splatoon's sales are in Japan.

So I took a break after about an hour and a half of playing and then went back on for close to about another hour and I finally played on the museum! I seriously played on a rotation of 3 maps for over 2 hours before I was on the museum... It was the only one I really wanted to play on haha.

Got top score too! And I am now a "Charismatic Mountain Food Boy" (Second highest splat fest rank)
Going off for now, but I'll probably try to get to the top rank after Mario Kart tomorrow.

Squad battles are taking ages to match up with because no Japanese players are here!

Lobbies are not empty, at least not for S. But you're definitely running into some same people if you re-roll the lobby.

I got back up to 32 points! Was worried I'd fall out of S for a sec there, think I dropped to 8. Finally was able to hold my own again, no splats out of nowhere that I couldn't handle all game; I played pretty pretty decently for a good number of em', crushed a few. Now who knows if no Japanese players had something to do with it, but I'd like to think it's not Japanese players in general but that there are more Japanese players (than the rest of the world) who employ these niche strats that crush me all game. That, and not a blaster in sight, yes!

I didn't know Japan had a Splatfest today. What is it?

It took hours of up'n'downs getting to that rank but I'm there... for now. Don't think I'll be touching Ranked for a bit now. I'm just gonna grind some of my clothing.

And yeah it's so awk when you click the wrong button cause Nintendo doesn't let you out of the lobby.

I used the octobrush since most people seemed to say that the inkbrush wasn't very good for ranked, but even though I'm in a turf war, I think I am doing better than when I use the octobrush with kills.

@DreamyViridi You've just overtaken me then. I'm back at A rank 98, due to a very incompetent Splat Zones session...

@TheXReturns: Ouch. "Splat Zones", say no more friend. I understand completely. I tried getting my Rank up using a Splat Zones session yesterday and got close at 96 before ending up in a losing streak. It was today's Rainmaker session (as usual) that got me through.

The type of anger that gets to me when I lose (while trying to boost my Rank) is not healthy... That's why I'm taking a break from Ranked...

@DreamyViridi Yeah, Rainmaker is the only mode I'm any good at. It used to go Rainmaker >>> Splat Zones > Tower Control, but now it's Rainmaker >>>Tower Control >>>>> Splat Zones.
