Has anyone experienced a glitch regarding the Tinker Knight level? You know how it's a two part battle. Every time I defeat the first the battle, Shovel Knight then goes into his victory stance, I cannot move him and Tinker Knight just starts shooting in his giant machine, and just loops continuously. I have to restart the level every time and it's getting very annoying.
@MoonKnight7 I heard this glitch only occurs if you perform a Shovel Drop on Tinker Knight at the end of the first phase. If you avoid doing that you should be fine.

This game reconfirms that Mario 3 had the best overworld. The only reason I'd say it has a better map than this is because it had more worlds and thus more interesting things going on (unless this changes super late into the game). But the fact that this is anything like Mario 3's map deserves praise (even though being like Mario 3 was blatantly the point).
According to the latest weekly download chart (presumably for the US, since it's not on the european eShop yet). Pretty impressive downloads for Shovel Knight, since the top 4 has always been MK8 free downloads for many weeks now. http://nintendoeverything.com/wii-u-eshop-charts-7214/
1. Zelda: Wind Waker HD
2. Pikmin 3 3. Shovel Knight
4. New Super Mario Bros. U

This and Child of Light's support (it's already in the lifetime top 20 for non-VC games) are the most desperately needed things that needed to happen on Wii U.
Shovel Knight might be my favorite 2014 game so far tbh. In love with the platforming style. You can feel both the retro and modern elements and the controls are perfect. Hope it sells well because it deserves to. I mean.. it has a "Butt Mode"...

Beat it. It really is a brilliantly made game and my prediction about it was entirely correct. So let me state, for the record: This is the best game from 1990. The fact that it came out in 2014 shouldn't be held against it.

And now Shovel Knight is ALREADY on that top 20 list as well. It's also the best selling title of the past week, barring the unstoppable juggernaut of Wind Waker HD.
Meh, the later features just means I have an excuse to replay it.
I actually just decided to replay it on New Game Plus. That might not be ideal with all the other games I need to play that I already own (even ignoring the two I'm saving until next year).
