Bookmarked it, I am looking for a couple more and then I will check it out.
Alright, the bottom part was fun and I gave it a star. My cousin played it and all went through the top part and then tried skipping it not knowing I left 100 Mario Challenge, I would still change the top even though you can skip it. Other than that we both liked it.
I'm working on a version where I cut down the first part about 40-45%; would that be enough to make it playable?
Thanks again for your feedback (and the star).
I'm not sure, I just quite playing it now after a few hours. I got a lot further but not even close to the end. I downloaded it so I could look ahead and in a long way from completion
After I cut out a large section at the beginning, I had a big chunk of empty space, which got me thinking about what to do with it. I decided to try something a little bit different — an alternate world where all the hidden blocks are revealed, and the secrets are on display. Obviously it's going to take some time to re-create the level, so I'll post back later when it's finished.
A short single jump challenge. Just get over the spikes to the flag post, no secrets or hidden blocks or anything like that. I used a jump like this in "the dangers of shell jumping 2" but wanted to give it a level of its own.
Here's the sequel to my Escort the Block! course. This time, you'll have to move with some flying blocks and use them to clear the course. However, you must not hit the block or you'll stop it dead in its tracks, forcing you to start from the last available checkpoint.
I'll give you some tips for playing this course:
You'll struggle with this course if you stick to the moving platform. Make good use of the flying block as a platform to help you avoid traps and enemies. But don't get too comfortable; along with spikes to force you off the flying block, the block itself can be your worst enemy. Make sure you don't get pushed off the platform or downright get crushed by it.
Some of the traps aren't necessarily there to hurt you, but to serve as an alarm of some sorts.
I still play this game from time to time but I've kind of retired from creating levels. So much work goes into it and I get lost on what to do. It's hard work creating a really good level, but I do have some that I made months ago that I'm kind of proud of. I can appreciate what goes into creating a Mario game now though.
I've been enjoying some other people's levels and I'm still hoping they will release some kind of DLC for this game but I don't think that will happen (they may make some updates).
Hey all, I'm totally new to this, but I've got the game recently but noticed none of my levels are even getting noticed, so I came to show em off here. I went for the levels I wanted to play when I started the game up- just traditional levels.
But I went a wee bit bigger.
There listed in "parts" but there is no real continuity, so here's the ol' list:

AA8C-0162-824F
766C-0000-0153-00ED
9F23-0000-0152-D80C
Much appreciated for those who play!
EDIT: They are long, and generally challenging. I made the levels prior to even knowing there were checkpoints, let alone unlocking them. Sorry about that-
Thank you for going to all that trouble of making, filming, and uploading it. I actually have an almost identical contraption at the very end of the level, just before the goal. It uses blocks instead of cannons, but I think in every other respect it's the same.
It was no trouble. I think I might have a go at working with goombas too. Have more options using them rather than Yoshi and I have few more ideas that didn't make it into the Yoshi Processing Plant level.

Let me know what you think, I would love feedback and some stars i...
The Evil Master Plan is ready, jump into this scrolling caste adventure and feel the horror! Master of the castle can even find Yoshi from somewhere over the clounds // My first auto-scrolling level, what do you think?
That is actually my fifth level what I have ever created. I just bought Wii U few days back . Plese check my other level if you like this one, but I believe this is the best so far.
Lake of wonders (8825-0000-0167-F747)

a bit too Spiny (2D1F-0000-0163-4772)
Little cave adventure (9610-0000-0161-451B)
Also, I saw you played/starred/commented on "Enemy Training Rooms" but I was just about to (and now have) upload a new (and better... I think) version of it! So thanks for the star, and sorry you no longer have the best time.
No worries, I'm all for re-uploading courses when needed. I've done it like a hundred times now. I'll check out the new version soon.
Hey guys, I'm new here. Just joined up recently. I've been discouraged at how few people have played my courses. Any of you willing to take a look at them? There's two that I'm particularly fond of. Both are made in a traditional Mario style.
Don't be too discouraged, they will get played more over time. Play lots of 100 Mario Challenge for good karma! I will check them out if you post the bookmark links for them from the Super Mario Maker Bookmark site.
Everyone has one of those levels that they spent lots of time on and are really proud of and no one clears it or stars it right? Or is that just me? This is mine, I realize it is very hard but it don't require difficult jumps or finding hidden blocks or have instant death if you go through the wrong door, or 100 baddies coming at you at once. It is just a dungeon style level that has a lot to it and you have to do everything in the correct order. It is an exploration course and the time limit hurts it but I can't add check points because you have to go back and forth through pipes when you start at a check point it is just a starting point and the stuff you have done is no longer done. Anyway, if anyone wants to check it out and give me feedback here are the links.
My more difficult courses don't get played, cleared, or starred much so I have replaced most of them with easier versions that I am still proud of because they are still creative and fun. People definitely seem a lot more likely to star a course if they clear it which makes sense. I bookmarked this one to check out later. I might have some newer ones that you haven't played and might be interested in if you just check out my profile in my signature.

@marakassi Haha, I've noticed you've been playing some of my other courses. They're not worth it. I didn't start putting much effort in them until Castle of the Three Kings. Even then, I'm not proud of that one. Boo Village is where I started getting "serious" about course design. As soon as I reach my upload limit, those early courses are first to go.
By any chance, do you guys know what happens to the stars I earned on courses when I delete them? Do they get deleted?

Rest assured, they don't get deleted. It was something I was particularly worried about when I first got the game; that I've have to delete a course with say, 2 stars, in order to replace it with one that would have to get 5. Thankfully, you can delete all your courses, and you won't lose a single star.
@PowerStar yeah I figure out, but they weren't so bad, thank you for shearing. My first attempts of level making ("Little cave adventure" and "a bit too spiny") are nothing special either, but you have to start from some where, right? . My favorite of your levels is "Journey to the Great Tree". Quite cozy atmosphere, and the tree at the end is awesome
It is very fun to see that some of my levels are getting noticed and even stars! I would like to hear some comments regarding to "Evil is present", because I tried to be very calculating and careful when designing that level. There are many secrets I can tell.. .
@PowerStar
"By any chance, do you guys know what happens to the stars I earned on courses when I delete them? Do they get deleted?"
nope, you will keep them but everything else will lost, like world record etc. I google it yesterday. Have not tried my self yet.
I've done it many, many times. Your info is completely correct. The stars will still count toward your total but you will never see them listed on that course again. If you counted all of the stars on my courses now, it would total a lot less than my actual grand total. It's a little disappointing but it was worth it because of the improvements I made. I get annoyed when I play an older course that doesn't have a check point but obviously needs one and the person clearly just doesn't want to delete and reupload it. I wish people cared more about the quality of the courses in 100 Mario Challenge than about seeing lots of stars next to their course.
I cleared out (hopefully all) unintended solutions and softlocks out of my old level and replaced wigglers with bumpers ,because they're more reliable. I also added brand new puzzle. If you know Yoshi, this level is easy.
That screenshot may still show screenshot of old version, because nintendolife hasn't updated thumbnail from new miiverse page
