I just made what I think is my best one yet 'The Great Rig in the Sky' Not sure how long exactly I was at it for but must have been close to 4 hours haha

It would be cool if you could place a block in your level that when hit switched between game styles or level type and you could control what it switched between.

I reached the enemy/item limit for some reason... There aren't many.. And I'm serious, no enemy spam.. ??? Strange..

My next level is almost done, hopefully I won't have issues, since I'm dealing with Hammer Bros. And in the last level they wouldn't stay put so I had to put them on rails. This one involves a second layer in the sublevel, so I'm hoping the enemies up above won't screw you up on the bottom. lol

Hi! Im looking forward to trying courses from creators who put time and effort into making them. At this point I have just been lost in a jungle of automatics or sloppy design. I do not ask of much, just a sign of effort is enough. I have tried some of the courses posted here, and they have all been far better then what I could find on Course World.

I will continue to check this forum for good courses, so I hope you keep it up! I have also created some courses that I am rather pleased with, hope you check them out!

I had the game crash on my friends level. Total screen lock and freeze. Had to power the console off at the Wii U.

I was on Yoshi and there were a lot of enemies on the screen and I tried to jump off yoshi in the air. First time my Wii U has ever crashed.

Finished my level, Hammer Bros. Factory, code is on the sharing thread. Have fun.

I'm quite upset that in the first pack you unlock, you get lakitu...what was Nintendo thinking? The novice makers really don't need that guy so soon. You're only supposed to use him every once and a while because he: goes through blocks, follows you, always stays at the same height, and gives you cloud to ride anywhere.

Its called "World 1-1 sdrawkcab"
Its inspired by YouTube videos, Twisted Toyfare Theater, and general jokes about being unable to go left in the original Mario.
So i made a recreation of world 1-1 where you do it backwards, right to left. I had to take some liberties since you can not move the flag but it still works.

Please play and let me know what you think. If you like it i want to make an original right-to-left level. And feel free to ask about the level in general.

So I made my first SMW level, based off of stage 1 of Ninja Gaiden (nes). I chose smw because the cape seemed like a decent replacement for a sword.

I got the Mario Maker book in the mail today.

People in the UK really got a hard cover version of it? I'm envious, that would have been a lot nicer.

How do you get the book in the mail, I pre ordered and downloaded also.

You have to call Nintendo's customer service number and give them your receipt number for the game (which I had to google how to look it up because I also bought Mario Maker as a digital download).

I called on the Saturday 12th and got the book today so it's pretty fast.

@JonSpangler: have you played Super Luigi Bros off NES Remix 2? It's a full version of Super Mario Bros featuring Luigi and it scrolls right to left entirely. Nonetheless, you have made a fantastic job. Yes please, more right-to-left stuff!! You should do all original levels - it should be your signature thing, "the right-to-left man"! Now I shall call you noJ.

My level "laying pipe for princess peach" apparently reached a limit on how many warp pipes I could use. I had to cut it short because of that but it is still probably my best level. It's the only one that has been starred.

I will check that code out when I get home, I don't think I have played any of yours yet

Just spent like 5 hours on this course! It's called Adventurer's Cavern, it's sort of Metroidvania style in the sense that you can choose your own path - there's 3 different ways through this stage!

Yea I know, anyone who gets it is old enough to see it though, and because it is a warp pipe heavy mario level its a fitting title. It's not graphic or obscene or anything so I doubt anyone will have a problem with it especially since If they don't already know the saying they won't think anything of the title and just think it is a normal sounding title for a warp pipe level in mario.
