Topic: Mario Kart 8 - OT

the week of May 30th is going to be a great gaming week~ on the 27th we got Watch_Dogs (which i got the pc version of) and then Mario Kart 8~ also i'm glad its after college finals that these two come out why??? because they are both major procrastination fuel. xD

hopefully they will come with aswell lots of DLC i don't care to pay for it, as long as it is an fair price and a lot of Content >D, i know i dream a lot , im just so so soooo hyped counting days, hours, minutes and even seconds XD

It's gonna be great. I'm Gonna be off Wednesday and Thursday night, when it comes out probably at midnight on that friday.

Hopefully it won't take long to download then, cause I've gotta get in some mk8 playtime then before I go back to work that Friday night.!

And yes, I do believe we'll be getting Birdo in this game, as well as most, if not all of the racers from Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart 7.

Just pre-ordered that limited edition bundle from Nintendo's UK store, makes no sense getting the limited edition version from anywhere else. What with the couple extras that come with it.

yep, a cup pro DLC maybe some kartparts and a character or 2 will be nice, pay something like5$ until 10$ , i bet for it please nintentdo !

I bet they will have DLC. Mario Golf will have paid courses...Maybe for Mario Kart too.

DLC! I'd love DLC so much. Maybe more players, karts and definitiley courses. Maybe another game mode too, who knows.

I would love some dlc for this game after release to support it! My ideal pricing: $10 - One four course cup. $3- new character. Would be sweet if new courses were available to everyone online so as to not split the community. However, to play them offline you should pay.

10$ is too much. I vote 4$ Course Pack. 2$ Character Pack. And maybe...10$ New Mode.

I think 10 is reasonable for 4 maps, you gotta realize how much work goes into those maps. Plus they would prolly include a new character or kart as well 10 is nothing compared to the 30 you will pay for mgs ground zeroes. (For those that have another console lol). I like the idea of everyone having access to them in online, but it simply wouldnt work because after you beat the single player, most people are only going to play multiplayer so nobody would buy it xD

Please no DLC, unless it's free.
I don't want to pay extra to have everything, I have other games to buy too.

If they do it right not buying DLC shouldn't negatively affect you

With consideration to the fact that in a $60 Mario Kart game, there are 8 cups (maybe an extra???), a full blown battle mode, online functionality in place, and the engine already functional, to design a new 4 course cup for the purposes of paid DLC wouldn't be that hard as it seems.

Therefore, with all the features of Mario Kart 8 costing $60, 4 course cup DLC should be no more than $5.

The DLC would hafta be free. DLC for Mario Kart 8 isn't the same for Fire Emblem: Awakening's DLC. I don't think most people would even spend more than $3 bucks for a track for Mario Kart 8.
