So I want to ask is like online dead for MK8? I have been trying a while now both Nintendo Life Tournamets and both have been empty. I have tried at all different times and got no one. I tried just a worldwide online session and again very few people were on it. Did I miss something? Is there something wrong with the game that people don't want to play online as much as they did before?
It's called Super Smash Bros.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)

I agree regarding the Nintendo Life tournaments though not about worldwide online sessions. I've been able to find near full lobbies almost everytime so either @Tasuki doesn't have the DLC (I haven't tried no DLC lobbies since before the DLC was released) or has connection issues.
I have the DLC and my connection is good maybe its just the groups that I am getting like most of them are filled up so I get into ones that aren't yet.

If I get in a group with few players, I might need to run a race or two before the group is filled. Sometimes, the group never seems to fill properly, and then I exit and connect again, where I mostly get a new place in a larger group.
TIME TRIALS - Me and my Grandson do these but we can't see each others ghost is there any way of saving them so we can see them on each others account?
I think that makes sense.

Actually... Its not dead. Online is now reserved for the elite racers. Almost every match I get in now is crazy competitive. Super Smash Bros. U is pulling alotta people from MK8 but the elite racers remain

No wonder the people i been facing are so good! It's more fun and exciting!
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
King Boo and Sonic should be added as playable characters! someone call Nintendo!
Sonic isn't part of the Mario universe, and it's not even a Nintendo character.
super smash bros has sonic in it, as well as mario. I don't see why sonic shouldn't be added to mario kart as a racer. boo not being in mario cart shocks me though.
The characters from Mario Kart Double Dash and Wii that aren't in 8 should be playable.
I agree with this for the most part. The only one that should not come back is Funky Kong. He was a weird choice, but not as weird as some of the babies and metal colorings.
