@DestinyMan Interesting that they said blue shells were too common, when Andre of GameXplain told us they were kinda rare. Not that it's a big deal, when you can vaguely customize item rates.

1. You can actually "buy" new Kart parts? That's new to me... lol
2. He was pretty unlucky. I think Blue Shells are handled as in MKWii.
There are races where I don't see a single one and on another at last 1 each lap.
3. I thought the severs are already up? At last GameXplain for example could play online. if I'm not totally mistaken.

Seems like the Worldwide mode isn't ready... but Andre played against Nintendaan who is in the Netherlands...
That review seems a little weird to me..

Their reviews are pretty strange generally. Maybe not bad, but strange.

Fore example they said Donkey Kong TF music reminds them of elevator music. facepalm

BTW I think there will be a demo of this coming out soon If you do the pre register thing on club nintendo, it asks how you found out about mario kart and the first box says a demo. It could be one released the day it comes out but in any case there definitely will be one

Although, they could mean demos from E3 and such but yes, an eShop demo just before release would be nice.

To be honest if they released a demo, I would try and avoid using it. When I finally get it I want to experience it for the first time. Makes up for knowing all the tracks and characters some what

The game comes out in just over 3 weeks I'd rather just wait to play the final version then a limited demo leaving me wanting more.

Do we know yet if for 2 player we can do 1 on the GamePad and 1 on the TV?

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I just can't find any source of this being denied. All I can find are articles talking about 1080p and 60 fps EVEN IN 2 player splitscreen, which to me hints at possible 2 player without splitscreen but I guess I am wrong lol
