I hope that's true, I would really like to play as characters such as Vaati. Unless they're planning a sequel that uses the toon dimension.
Edit: Ghirahim better be playable! I'm sure he is though. Isn't the main point in them making this game so that we can play as characters that are unplayable in the Zelda series?

It would be wicked if they redesigned the characters to fit the more realistic art style. They'd have to do it well though and a lot of people probably wouldn't like it anyway.

I meant either goron, zora, deku, fierce deity, or any combination of them.
Also would be cool but unlikely: Young link who uses his ocarina for attacks.
