EDIT: It's technically VC, but some could argue that it's a sort-of remake because they'll have to add a reticle of some sort for aiming. But Nintendo is calling it VC.

The first Zapper game they release on the VC. Always thought it would be easy to do since the Wii Remote IR pointer works similar to the NES Zapper. And now I want Wild Gunman too.
I didn't see the Direct. Was an on-screen targeting reticule confirmed? Whether they are, or not, they don't have to. The only reason they would, is b/c of the changing in difference in pointing accuracy. It's possible that a Wiimote could easily mis-aim, despite the player aiming in the general direction. The difference is in going from a photoeye that "sees" only black/white, then tells the game, which decides hit/miss, to instead a system of pointer tracking, & the game (itself) deciding hit/miss based on location of pointer @ time of pressing fire, rather than white/black check. It all really depends on how Nintendo chooses to program the emulator, & game; more appropriately, the Zapper functionality. The "Zapper" could be accomplish @ least 2 different ways.
