Topic: Am I too late to get the Wii U?

I probably missed out on a lot of games and I've been wondering if I'm too late to get the Wii U..... cause I can only get it around next year seeing that I just started job training and all......I only hope that it doesn't end up like the Wii where I bought the system and by next year, the next gen system happened.

the system is only 2 years old. most gens last 5 years. Even if the WiiU never pics up in sales they can't retire it before then or they will risk splitting the fanbase. Buy it.

Really, what are you worried about? That Nintendo will announce a successor to the Wii U in 2018 or 2019 and you can skip the Wii U then? Assuming it will also have a game pad and full backward compatibility...
You're not late at all. The thing is you have a lot of games to catch up to, but that's always true.

Games are not live shows that if you don't get them the first time you missed them forever. Unless you wait many years and then they get discontinued, and then a ton of its best games can be found on digital.

That would assume he has unlimited time though. If he plays PS3 now all the time, he won't be playing Wii U etc. So I wouldn't recommend it

You can work your way through the backlog of games without worrying about the droughts that have plagued the console for the last 2 years.

Nintendo is announcing the Wii U DX for next year, going to surpass the power of an XBOX One, didn't you hear? lol

When you get one, you'll already have years of awesome releases to dig through, which is more that can be said for when I got mine.

Bottom line, get it. It might not have as many announced games as other consoles, but it is my genuine opinion that it has most of the very best ones.

anything surpasses the Xbox one they can release a game boy(original) and it will be better
