I would buy all 3. New questions asked.

Souls are for the weak. I flow with the darkness on the pathway of depression.

So you never complained about the 1/256 chance of a supposedly 100% accurate attack missing, or when a Bellsprout keeps using Wrap against you with no way to stop it?

Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Sure, but are those glitches? I always was fighting against waking up and stuff or poisoning the opponent. But it was just chance. Sometimes I woke up after one turn, sometimes the enemie slept for five rounds. But I never saw those as glitches, just as part of the game.

When something described as 100% accurate isn't actually 100% accurate, that's definitely a glitch.

In the case of Wrap (or Bind, Clamp, or Fire Spin), it lasts for 2-5 turns without the opposing Pokémon being able to attack back. If the Pokémon is faster, it can then use Wrap again before its opponent can attack unless it missed (with accuracy only counted on the first hit). Sleep moves also have this problem in the first generation (which makes Spore extremely broken), but at least you can switch out and attack with something else, whereas switching out of a partial trapping move will cause the new Pokémon to automatically have the partial trapping attack used on it. I find it hard to believe Game Freak intended for these classes of attacks to be so broken.

Other big glitches include Toxic increasing the damage taken by Leech Seed and Hyper Beam not needing to recharge if it gets a KO.

Of course. Though they are dated, they still are good fun. Definitelly more accessable than the NES Dragon Quests and Final Fantasys.

I can't really remember encountering those (but it has been many years). But those really don't sound like actual glitches, just unbalanced attacks. When I think of a glitch I think more of MissingNo or catching a wild Mew by jumping through hoops or level a Pokémon up from 1 to 100 in one level up.

As long as you can still play with friends sure. I've never played a pokemon game before, so I'd use this one to see if I'd like the games before buying any new ones.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

RevolverLink

If they patch in an online trading system, sure. I'd buy Yellow for the nostalgia alone.

And the roster was still small enough with the first gen that I'd might actually have a shot at completing my Pokedex, for once.

I would, but seeing how the games have been remade already, it seems that Pokemon Yellow would be the best choice. Though since there is no multiplayer, it probably won't happen.

I can at least hope for the TCG game!

That is what made the 3ds vc inferior to the wii vc sure they are overpriced but at least It had local multiplayer. That & they will never update the 3ds vc with multiplayer. 3ds vc w/o any multiplayer= no support from 3rd party developers
on subject here yes I would download them

Give me SSF4+5 capcom or else you WILL be sorry because SSFIV:3D sucked!
Not changing my statements until mario party 1 gets on the virtual console.

CosmoXY

Yes, I would blue Blue. I've never played any of the GB or GBC games so I'd like to experience them even though I realize that the newer games have improved so much over the originals. Hopefully they'd add some multiplayer features as well as the ability to transfer pokémon up to a newer game when one eventually comes out for 3DS.

I don't think so. There are better versions available in the market at the moment, that will allow you to do and play literally the exact same thing and way like Blue / Red. Why waste money ?
