My vote goes to Pikmin. Something about going underground in the second one rubbed me the wrong way. I know the first was shorter but I just like it a little bit better.

Pikmin 2. I get the appeal of the time limit and I haven't played the original since 2002 but I don't think that would change that I prefer Pikmin 2. There's just more to it and dungeons and stuff, it's great.
