Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata has revealed that Pokémon Snap, one of the best Pokémon spin off games wasn't originally a Pokémon game.
Iwata was speaking with developers Hal during a discussion about Kirby's Epic Yarn when he said "Originally, Pokémon Snap for the Nintendo 64 system wasn't a Pokémon game, but rather a normal game in which you took photos, but the motivation for playing the game wasn't clear. We wondered what players would enjoy taking pictures of, and later on we made a somewhat forced switch to taking pictures of Pokémon."
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
I wonder whats there First idea, to take pictures of........
Maybe it would have been an "Metroid pictures games", Take a pictures of a Metroid, before you die...
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
It was probably something along the lines of what Afrika tried. But that game didn't really do all that well, so I suppose Nintendo make the right choice.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
imagines snapping Samus with a camera ...Aww Yeah ;D
On a more serious note a new Pokémon Snap could rock, imagine a 3DS augmented reality one with the ability to save to the SD card.
