Does the game suck without it?

Yes. The Rental Pokemon aren't very good (if you've played a pokemon game before, you'll be frustrated by the attack selections of each pokemon, none of which make sense), and the game is only really engaging if you treat it as a tournament to test out the parties you've been working on. My suggestion is to see if you can find any of the Stadium games bundled with the GB pack cheap, or at least note down the cheapest working set you can find, and the find the cheapest working seperate GB Pack and see if it'll cost less to get them seperately or bundled (or see if you still want to pay the price of either of them).

What is a good NES baseball game? I remember Bases Loaded being pretty good, any others?

@Tyron I loved that old baseball game Base Wars on the NES. There was nothing like playing baseball with a team of upgradable cyborgs and dismembering each other over bases. I'm not really into retro games but it was awesome at the time.

A few questions on the Sega CD.

1. Will it work on a first-generation Genesis?
2. After I attach it, will I have to remove it to play regular Genesis games?
3. Does it install easily?

Are there any advantages to having the SNES redesign over the original?
All I know is that the mini doesn't support S-Video, but it doesn't discolor either.

Seconded, and I also recommend Phantasy Star Online Episode III and Lost Kingdoms II.

Okay, guys, so I've recently have acquired a PS2, but, I didn't come with any games or memory cards. I have a bunch of PS games, but not the thing that lets me play them. So, after I buy a memory card, I'll be buying some games. Any recommendations? Oh, and does anyone know how to disable the parental-lock without the password? I got it from a guy who set it to where I can't play anything that is above PG, and I need my Dawn of the Dead fix

Hi everyone, I was recently thinking that I have missed a lot of treasures at the GCN level and was thinking of looking for some, I loved Eternal Darkness and Beyond Good and Evil, and what I realized is that I like adventure games with a good story but not particularly difficult game play. Like maybe there is a trick to beating the boss monsters but once you figure it out it is not that hard to pull off, at the same time i don't want it too easy either. More up to date I like Twilight Princess (this was my first try at zelda) and Resident Evil 4 both were wii versions. Not sure how clear I made myself but does anyone have any ideas, thanks

Feel free to add me and contact me
Darn you Nintendo, my backlog is already out of control and you are just making it worse with these new game announcements!!!!

You might want to look into The Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker, Metal Gear Solid:The Twin Snakes, Prince of Persia:the Sands of Time, Tomb Raider:Legend, and maybe even Resident Evil 0 if you don't mind tank controls.

I'll mention Lost Kingdoms 2 as well but the story is not such a big part of that game -but it's fun and it's there. Also Star Fox Adventures is just like Zelda; but I hated the shooting segments, especially later with the difficult teradactyl dragoon bit.

Should I get a Sega CD?

I guess it depends on how much it costs and what games you're looking to play. Why not upgrade to a Dreamcast instead? They both cost the same used.

Personally I always liked the design of the Gameboy SP. I liked the clamshell design so that way the screen doesnt get all scratched up in your pocket.

I say you should get one. It may be full of FMV crap, but it has some great games like Sonic CD, Silpheed, Shining Force CD, and Final Fight CD.
