Topic: Nintendo 64 recommendations

Basically anything that has a RARE-logo on the game box. Especially Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. Essential FPS-games. I also recommend the two Mystical Ninja Goemon games - very funny platformer/adventure games by Konami. Such a shame that series is basically dead nowadays .

Snowboard Kids: an underappreciated gem.

Mystical Ninja: Starring Goemon: a great, Zelda-like adventure game.

Mystical Ninja 2: a fun RPG/platformer hybrid.

Wave Race 64: Best. Water. EVAR (well, until Hydrophobia came along).

Bangai-O: Rare shoot 'em up, but it's worth tracking down.

Mario Golf & Mario Tennis: Both are supremely addictive.

Bomberman 64: A mash-up of adventure game and puzzler.

Wetrix & Tetrisphere: Both are great puzzle games.

Hybrid Heaven: A challenging (but unique) RPG/beat 'em up.

Shadowman 64: A genuinly mature horror game.

Turok 1, 2 & 3: All solid FPS games.

Fighter's Destiny: The N64's answer to Tekken. A solid fighter.

Duke Nukem 64: Good old fashoned shooter.

Quest 64 (AKA Holy Magic Century): Recieved negative reviews...but has earned a cult following (I enjoyed it).

There's also Sin & Punishment...but it's easier just to get it from the Virtual Console.

EDIT: Oh! There's also Hercules: The Legendary Journeys: a fun beat 'em up (AND you play as Kevin Sorbo. It's a win-win).
