Just started playing it, and I love it! The graphics are nice, and have a Wind Waker resemblance (particularly Link). The sound effects and music are clearly Wind Waker. The gameplay is a combination of Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time, Link's Awakening, and ALTTP. A very fun game indeed.

It's a great game with amazing graphics. The only things I didn't like was that it was short and, much like Twilight Princess, didn't have much novelty in it as opposed to some other Zelda games from the 2000's such as Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass and Majora's Mask.
OK, I'm finding it very unique compared to the other Zelda games.
What parts do you find unique?
I vaguely recall some unique power-ups along with some unusual trade chains and fetch quests. I really liked how shrinking made you look at the same areas different (either from a totally different perspective, or just watching for tiny details that would otherwise be overlooked). However, the game didn't seem that far away from the Zelda formula. It just felt beautifully polished and put together.
Of course it's been a long time since playing, so maybe my memory of the unique and unusual parts has faded.
The progression is very different from other Zelda games. For one thing, you "earn" the ability to break pots. The dungeons are completely different early on.

Minish cap felt like a weaker version of the Oracle games. I liked it, but it doesn't do what it does as well as the Oracle duo did.
Also, it always seemed a bit cumbersome to travel around the overworld in this one. You were always having to shrink and grow, and you couldn't just go anywhere without some sort of annoyance. Things like the broken bridge on the west part of town, or the fact that the Minish-sized Link can't go over the paving in the middle of the town. It was just annoying.
Still, it's probably the last of its kind. I loved the 2D top-down games, and yet it doesn't seem like there'll ever be new ones. I haven't played Spirit Tracks yet, though, but if it's anything like Phantom Hourglass, then it's just not the same...
I loved Minish Cap, the only Zelda that I actually completely finished, I usually just go to the final dungeon and never play them again

Yeah, same here. It was a great game, although the combat was a bit too easy(but very fun). The puzzles were great, though. I wish Capcom still did the handheld Zeldas.
Phantom Hourglass sucked after awhile due to the fact that you have to go through the whole dungeon again and again (although you do get a halfway point eventually). That and the time limit made it increasingly frustrating. Spirit Tracks solves everything, including the boring sailing.

The mention of Minish Cap and final dungeon in the same paragraph reminded me of how the game gives the finger to the player: you can't leave the final dungeon. If you forgot something and save (and didn't make a backup save), you're out of luck.

Are you serious?

I think this is misleading.
When you start the final level, it's kind of by surprise and then you need to complete the level (ie: beat the final boss) before finishing other things like heart pieces or kinstone fusions. You can't just enter or exit the final level anytime you want. This totally makes sense because of the story, but I can understand why some people wouldn't like it.
Once you finish the final level, you can save and then go back into your game to complete stuff you didn't already do.
