@ Zenman Thanks I hadn't watched that in a couple of days
Love your SoaSE suggestion. I love the scope of that game and would drool over a movie (there's not enough sci-fi flicks being made).
As for me, howzaboot Tarantino doin' No More Heroes. Ooh, I quiver at the thought, mmmm. But no Johnny Knoxville, I'll play Travis, it's ok.
thanks, liek i said, the lore in the manual set up a great story, than i was sad when it was only deathmaches, but yea the story would be great as i like to think about how it would be story: liek the enemy that the Vasari ar runnin from come into play

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
The problem with making a movie out of games like Ocarina of Time and Other M lies in the spoilers. If OoT was made into a movie, everyone would already know how it ends as well as how the adventure goes. Also, for anyone who somehow hasn't played the game, it's ruined for them. For newer games like Other M it would drop sales to make a movie out of it.
The only logical thing to do when making something from game to movie (if it can be a possible success), would be to make up another plot entirely. For instance, bring back Vaati and a mute Navi with a naive child Link unleashing the movie's evil by pure accident. (Hey, he's a kid. Kids make mistakes...and this kid would have to correct it.)
Now, there are games that could, as Adam mentioned, be a Saturday morning cartoon series (we'll never speak of those other series ever again). Heck, even Metroid could be a good cartoon if the right plot (stretched across a season) is used in those 22 minutes of air time.
Personally, I'd want a series or movie on The Legend of Zelda, but that's not going to happen. >>;
Most games don't translate well into movies, but I think Sin & Punishment would make a great action movie.
But the story in S&P sucked, and the characters were uninteresting. Not that the gameplay was bad (not my thing though), but I don't know how it would work.

This is ground control to major Tom, you've really made the grade. And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare
@The Fox: That's why I said action movie. Most action movies don't have good plots or interesting characters, they just have nice, shiny explosions. Which Sin and Punishment has a lot of.

imma playin ff IV now and in my opinion, it would translate into a good movie ( for an RPG it is a little story driven), consider taht my #11 first 10 at the start of thread
I think a Zelda movie is a must. And a Metroid movie would be pretty cool as long as there's things blowing up and aliens being killed. A Kid Icaris movie would be cool too!
