Topic: Unofficial Mass Effect series fan thread

I'm not all that big on the Mutiplayer stuff. May touch just so I can play as a Turian or drell. I mean i'd much rather see a whole new ME game based around mutiplayer.

Going to try to pick up the arrival next week and pre-order the ME3 collectors edition.

Hopefully they get the DLC game front. Mass Effect 2 had better support then the first game but both pale in comparison to what Dragon Age 1 got.

yeah the DLC should be good, the collector's addition is already confirmed to have exclusive DLC (will be preordering it over Christmas break once I get money), do you have Lair of the Shadow Broker yet? it's honestly THE best piece of DLC for ME2, can't get enough of the last battle in it.

As for the multiplayer, I'll probably end up being either an Asari or a Krogan

Yep I have Shadow Broker and Overlord. Shadow Broker was a pretty Juicy piece of meat and was pretty hard.

I think I may enjoyed Overlord more just because of the subject matter.

Overlord was great as well, loved that one a lot too, Bioware is great with DLC in general, the best part about Arrival I think is the endurance style battle you have to do at one point, basically survive until you kill everything (bunch of enemies with an YMIR mech thrown in) or until you get killed, either way, you continue to the next part of the story, quite enjoyable, and VERY challenging

since i fell in love with tali since i thought Liara broke it up but then comes the shadow broker at the end where we just chicka bow wow like she doesnt notice i have tali and then i find out i could get her back in me3 but theres going to be issues

damn it lol if only i knew i wouldnt have fallen for tali like that but now im going to have some serious issues

this is why I have multiple characters, my vanguard and Liara, my Soldier and Ashley/Miranda (planned it to turn into a triangle), my adept and Tali, and then my Sentinel and Miranda, at least that's how I'm think I'll to it out, I've only completed playthroughs with my Soldier and Vanguard

yeah i tried other class's it somehow the gameplay felt weird for me so i just stuck with soldier anytime i want to replay the game lol

hahaha I started with my vanguard, and to this day she's still my favorite character to play, though I GREATLY enjoy using my widow sniper rifle on my soldier, I actually took out the last boss of ME2 on insanity in 4 hits with that gun, it did more damage than the M-920 Cain will do (aka the Nuke Launcher)

Mostly played as soldier. ME1 is really unbalanced to play as any other class during the first hours of the game, (Noveria,therum,feros)

first time i played ME2 was on insanity mode it never felt that hard for me

I've never had a problem playing as my vanguard on insanity, she's actually my best class on ME1

No I mean my vanguard was the first character I ever created, and I still enjoy using her.

How did you have insanity your first playthrough? I thought you had to beat the game on Hardcore to unlock that? or was that only the first game? And insanity isn't that hard, at least for me, just a lot of enemies take a LONG time to kill, it's actually easy enough for me that I can't play anything easier than insanity anymore, everything else is a cakewalk

insanity was what i picked i just remeber cuz i think i pick the available highest difficulty

well, luckily for us in ME3 they're supposedly jacking up the difficulty, looking forward to a real challenge there

well cant wait i intend to play every bit of it till the end plus envitable dlc if they do it but being the last entry it will probably just be mp stuff

extra mission and character right there, I'm presuming there will be more like that, extra sidequests and still like that

nice collecters edition im getting but i just somehow know its going to be available to everyone else down the line in the future or not considering people would want this stuff

i guess bigger fans will get the collecters edition as for me i love me some metal cases

Mainly getting it for the Art Book and the Soundtrack. Have the Soundtrack to Mass effect 1 and 2.

id love to have custom case where i can put all of the games in one

i hope they make easier to take out because i had difficulty getting the game disc out of the collecters edition of me2 to the point i though i was going to break or snap the disc in 2 with the way it bended to get it out

as for the soundtrack i love virmire ride, afterlife club and that music that i cant seem to find where you give the guy a 1000 credits i really want to get that one on mp3 if u guys know what im talking about

I don't know if they'll allow some of that DLC to the public, the Collector Chitin Armor was the collector edition bonus for ME2 and that still hasn't gotten a public release, I'm going to get the collector edition simply because it's so epic, lol

I'm familiar with the first two, but not the third, sorry
