Topic: Unofficial Mass Effect series fan thread

Got the Game today along with the ashes DLC. Just got to the Citadel and man its been good.

Anyone playing on 360 want to play some mutiplayer later.

I was hoping there might be some more activity here...

I started it up yesterday. Having played the Shadow Broker DLC before this, the gameplay feels much more refined.

Have enjoyed wandering around the Citadel, and meeting random people. New characters are good too.

I already beat it and I was afraid of being spoiled and spoiling it for others.

Surprised this topic isn't full of the usual nerd rage about the ending. =P

It is (apparently) a bs ending but I don't see how that makes it different than a lot of games. But apparently it's not a "let's rush through every plot point" ending, so by default I don't see the problem beyond being mad at this stupid idea that an ending needs to be anything more than "GOOD GUYS WIN, LET'S CELEBRATE HOORAY"

I was at first and was about to rage but went to a party instead and got my mind off the ending. that and the Last five minutes don't ruin the 40hours of awesomness i had.

Question, if I use my Mass Effect 2 save will the characters that died at the end still be in 3?

No, they'll be dead. They died.

So was there anyone here who LIKED the ending?
There are actually some pretty wild theories about it.

I subscribe to the indoctrination one myself.

But it was announced the ending is getting changed.

I agree as well, which makes sense....
I picked Blue. T_T

I don't think it'll change, they just said it will "bring closure and clarity to the ending".
I sure hate plotholes...
And I am still disappointed by three identical endings....which was basically: What's your favorite color out of R/B/G?!

So what choice did you pick?

Green. Mostly because I was sleepy at 2:30 in the morning and was dumbfounded that this was the ending. However I did have enlighten war assets to get the perfect ending if I had picked red.
