Tearaway is legit one of the most underrated first party Sony games
Really hope that IP makes a comeback. I can see them using the DualSense to greater extents for that game compared to how the original title used the Vita

@WaveWitch Yeah, I played through maybe half of Tearaway a few years ago on my Vita, and once you get past the delightful visual identity of it, the game itself is just... nothing. No clever dialogue, the most rudimentary gameplay possible, and, like LBP, there was too much digging through menus to do "creative" stuff. I don't want to be creative, I want to play a damn game! The narration got on my nerves, too.
I've heard a lot of "pEoPlE wOuLd HaVe RaVeD aBoUt ThIs If NiNtEnDo ReLeAsEd It" nonsense from Playstation communities, but, having played through it, Nintendo would never release something this drab.
Actually, people can compare directly, since the new Paper Mario games are adventure games about paper. Similar aesthetic, but newer Paper Mario is quite a bit more fun. I'd even play Sticker Star over Tearaway.
Rayman Origins and Legends are amazing, though. Massive improvements over the older Rayman games.
I'm currently playing Astro Bot, and I was getting Bugsnax, but now it's free with PS+. Maybe I'll get Miles Morales if Bugsnax is a short game, but I plan on getting Cyberpunk as well. I don't have a ton of time, so this should last me until the end of the year, and beyond.

I wouldn't hold your breath. It undersold on the Vita AND on the PS4.
I wouldn't even be that surprised if Sony greenlights a new Tearaway project. But Media Molecule has to be the one developing it probably. If they want another one, I think they will allow it. Just don't count on it.
@Dezzy
Never claimed they were similar, only that I dont really like any of them. That's their similarity. None of them are particularly engaging, and they're all what I would classify as mediocre. I wasnt a big fan of Kirby or Yoshi's Crafted World- imo both are mediocre as well, yet I still found those two considerably more engaging than any on that list (I do, however, love Yoshi's Wooly World- that game was a remarkable exception to the mediocre Yoshi rule, and Kirby Planet Robobot was also really, really good- so those series at least crank out a great game once in a while).
@BruceCM That reminds me, I guess I also have access to the PS Plus Collection, which grants me access to FF15, Arkham Knight, Persona 5, and RE7. I've not played any of them, so I'll be giving those a try as well.
@WaveWitch I am 32 and I love physical games. I do not hate digital and people who prefer it but you clearly have issues. It is a choice of gaming habits. People do it because they like it not because they are in their 20s.
Did some "physical purist" took your lunch money and that is why you are angry?
@WaveWitch I mean I like physical media because I like having a stack of games in my colllection for aesthetic purposes and I pick up physical games that have pretty box art like Kingdom Hearts and Bloodborne and stuff
Idk where tf you got that mentality before it's not that deep bro

I prefer physical for Nintendo consoles partially because Nintendo physical editions are actually meaningful (for example the physical media actually contains the game) but also Nintendo's online infrastructure is ancient (I don't trust that my digital games will still be available when Nintendo moves on to the next system).
For other platforms I prefer digital because the disc is nothing more than a license key which could be revoked anyway (see Series X|S returning to original XB1 vision esque DRM for example) so peripherals is the main reason to get a physical version.
Ghosts of Tsushima update 1.16 will not install. It downloads, then when installing coughs up an error and says, “Error, Cannot Install”. Tried restoring my licenses and rebooting the console... ughh.
Probably gonna have to delete the game, reinstall on the internal, update on the internal, then try to move it to external SSD afterwards.
It’s like the PS5 doesn’t know what to do with updates for PS4 games on external storage.
@Grumblevolcano
I’d actually argue Nintendo has a flawless track record with keeping digital purchases.
You say you don’t trust your digital games will still be available when they move onto the next system, but the fact is you can still, to this very day, re-download Wii games purchased on the Wii Shop in 2006 (that was 15 years ago), you can still redownload 3DS games (from 9 years ago), you can still redownload Wii U games (from 8 years ago).
I’m not saying what you should or shouldn’t do, but I am saying the evidence lies contradictory to your beliefs. I always try to base beliefs on evidence, not emotions. Is it possible your fear proves warranted in the future? Sure. It’s certainly possible. But if they’ve proven reliable even for games purchased 15 years ago when they were still renting digital storefront I think it’s safe to say any digital purchases made on Switch will still be around next generation. In fact I’d even go so far as to say it will likely be backwards compatible as well.
@JaxonH It's about how every Nintendo system except from the Switch has digital downloads tied to the system (not an account) and how delisted stuff is handled in general (e.g. when Brain Training for Wii U VC was delisted you couldn't redownload it). Limited time releases like 3D All Stars I especially don't trust Nintendo with digital though have no other choice with the FE1 localization.
@Grumblevolcano
Not sure what tying to the hardware or account has to do with ability to redownload.
Again, free to believe whatever you want but there’s a distinct lack of evidence suggesting there’s anything to worry about. I don’t doubt out of the hundreds of games people on there might be one anomaly like Brain Age, but even that was specifically removed because it was used for an exploit when hacking the system, so that’s clearly an exception to the rule. Nothing about Mario suggests it will be treated any differently than any other game you can no longer buy.
edit 1
Nope. That didn’t work either. The update WILL NOT INSTALL no matter what I do. I’ve never had a new system give me problems like this.
edit 2
Successfully installed update. Had to move game to internal, disconnect external SSD, and then it installed. Plugged external back in, then moved game back to external SSD. Use as fix if you encounter the CE-107857-8 error.
@JaxonH Well if your Wii, Wii U, DSi or 3DS breaks (or is stolen) you lose everything digital you bought for that system because your downloads are tied to the system you purchased it on so you can't just buy another system, log in and redownload everything like you can on all Xbox and PS systems from 7th gen onwards.
As for Switch limited time releases, we'll see come April 2021.
