@Blooper987 I recommend oddworld. Has some blood as shown in the trailer, but it's really ridiculous and doesn't take itself too seriously. At least I remembered loving them as a kid.
@Blooper987, yeah, I'm sure a lot of these games will be great, but almost everything seemed really dark & gritty (even Final Fantasy seemed to be edgier).
I can understand why they skipped Ratchet & Clank (since it recently got showcased), but a new trailer for Sackboy's Adventure, something Tales, or a new anime game could have injected some much needed color.
Again, a lot of the games shown will be great though, and certainly something like Spider-Man won't be too gritty (the first one wasn't, and this one seems to have a lot of flashy neon going on, which certainly doesn't scream grimdark).

I thought FF XVI looked great, am I the only one? I wanted something more like IX and my prayers were answered.
Looked pretty awesome to me.
I'm cool with the return to the medieval european-inspired setting, given that it's a setting I generally enjoy. This looked a lot darker than FF9 though. It looked very much like the Matsuno games (Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy XII) in its style and tone. Much more serious and mature.
I guess they'll do another short showcase to show off the UI, maybe a little more of Astro's Playroom. Heck, I don't even think all the launch games are confirmed at this point?
Was going back and looking at the showcase, I don't see any preorder date. That kind of worried me, especially with what they've been doing with the recent e-mailing.
@Octane oh the first presentation was great. It made me think of getting a PS5 later down the road. Ratchet & Clank, Sackboy, and Astrobot looked great. Spider-Man was a game I’ve been wanting ever since it released and seeing a sequel about Miles Morales is awesome. The Hogwarts game looks fine but this presentation was just mostly rated M games. FNAF was there too which I found a little weird but I guess it’s really popular.
I’m also a little mad that all capcom seems to do right now is Resident Evil and DMC. Both times the capcom logo popped up I was hoping for a new mega man or a fighting game. Capcom has sooo many great series that they’re just doing nothing with. Sure I know Resident Evil is popular and people love it but it’s all they keep cranking out.
@RR529 At least it’s brighter than the XBox ones usually are. I think XBox is slowly reverting to a black/gray/brown color palette.
@Dezzy I don't know, people in the comments were trashing it because it wasn't ff7r pt 2. The frame rate was pretty janky, but I was watching on a phone. Nobody's going to even give it a chance, cause if 15. I just hope it's a new setting, looks like it so far.
