Topic: Sony Making Super Smash Bros. Clone *(Not a Rumor Anymore!)*

Is Solid Snake really an important character for Smash Bros enough for Nintendo to get upset when he appears in a rival game? Maybe Sony's game will get Snake, and we'll get Otakon.

I'd say one game is enough - I'd say the same thing about Sonic as well - we don't need him in the next Smash Bros. game either (although he'll probably show up anyway, seeing as how chummy Sega are with Nintendo.

@edhe I didn't like either Sonic or Snake in Smash Bros anyways. Pit on the other hand, was a fantastic integration to the series!

Or maybe he just hopes to get his character in there? Hard to tell. I always thought it would be weird if Smash Bros. would have a character from another fighting game added to the roster. Don't know enough about this game to know if I'll end up feeling the same.

I reckon Scorpion would be a good addition to the group. For both games.

Oh, Mortal Kombat 7? Yes to that, too. But as a guest character. He's not a canonical MK character or anything. He is still Kratos from God of War, not Kratos from Mortal Kombat.

That's how I see it, anyway. I don't care all that much one way or the other though, especially since I know next to nothing about how this game plays, which is much more important to me than who is on the roster. I like Smash Brothers primarily because it is so much less restricted than traditional tournament fighters (i.e. SF clones), not because Ness can fight Samus, though that's a huge plus.
