the joke is that people's creepy obsession with hating most Sonic characters not named Sonic is pathetic and trying too hard. It's like the manchildren who make fun of Navi from OOT every five seconds because someone made fun of it in a mildly witty way once and now they pretend Hitler > Navi without any cleverness or irony. Sonic should do what Mario does by only having one genre of each game on each console. One 3D platformer, one 2D platformer, one racing game, one tennis game etc...

The thing is its the quality. Sega really has Christian Whitehead who can really make a great Sonic game and yet, they don't see that.......
Still no news about a new Sonic game or that Sonic Boom show.....
