@turtlelink.... I think that was a temp price reduction because its not back at the normal $9.99.
EarthShield is a very tough game. Im pretty decent at smups but this one is really difficlut. Im not sure if there are more than one stage available, but I beat what I thought was the boss of the level only for it to continue on. There is a timer and when it hits Zero is GameOver. This game has a twist, the shoulder buttons speed up the characters, so much so that the mid bosses and the big guy I thought was the boss can end up on screen at once. Ive pretty much kept double speed up and had 100+ enemies on screen at once and beat that boss doing this and still didnt finish the level because of the timer. Im going to keep at it some, but for the small price of $2.99 ive already had a dang good time, as the gameplay is blazing fast and controls are tight. Having a good time with this little MINI.

If any of you haven't checked out Hammerin' Hero, you gotta give it a try. It's a great side-scroller and a lot of fun with its Japanese-tinged setting and theme. Very cool.
So, if I buy a game on the PSN for the PS3 - am I able to also transfer it to PSP for gaming on the go?
If so I'm totally buying a PSPGo next pay.
Edit: Is the PSPGo region locked? Because I have Japanese PSN games.
You can download any downloadable PSP game and PSOne Classic to your PS3 and transfer it to your PSP via an USB cable. I have done this a LOT. You can even use Media Go on your PC to buy PSP games and PSOne Classics directly off of the PC and download those games directly from the PC to the PSP! I have tried both options, and both options worked out great. Oh, and WOOT Dead or Alive Paradise is on the PSN store! Time to buy a PSN card!

When i saw that, i saw 0 screen shots on case or any decent info on PSN. What do you do in it?
I just ordered Lumines II for my PSP. Because i enjoyed Lumines so much i decided to get the 2nd one. So i'll for sure have some words to share about it when i receive it.

Has Anyone here tried the game Patchwork Heroes. Im so curious about it as the demo was awesome, but Im worried about the replayability of the full game. Its only $10 bucks so i might just grab it at some point.

@slapshot82: Patchwork Heroes is pretty fun. It only gets hard if you attempt to go through a stage as fast as possible without losing/using any of your teammates. I'd say there's a decent amount of replay value.
I think its real sad that the PSP/PS3 doesn't have many top tier content. Take minis for example, the ones Sony themselves put out are terrible. So far, the only ones worth getting to me that I haven't already bought somewhere else are Tetris, Age of Zombies, Alien Zombie Death and Monsters Probably Stole My Princess.
The problem is I don't feel they reliably come out with any quality content week to week for their releases(in the US), it doesn't even seem like any of the staff at PSN(in the US) even cares and I get irritated whenever I see the same poster on PS blog thank them(not sarcastically) for their great releases every week. Makes me sick in my mouth.

@sky... thanks for the reply man. I do agree when it comes to the Minis. If you look at the value of the constant PSN PS3 games released every week compared to the few dollars cheaper Minis, they just aren't worthy of buying, especially when you know nothing about them before release. Premium PSN is suppose to allow limited free access before you buy wich will be very helpful.

@slapshot82: I could've told you that was worth buying. Actually, I did. =D I've been playing it for the last few days, I beat all of story mode, perfectly and am currently working on score attack and trophies. I'd go as far to say that it is the best mini out now. Very good humor in it too.
