Watch a couple of Valve's Portal 2 advertising videos.

I know about the ads, but the previews I read about and whatnot said something about him being an actual character in the game.

Yes. Portal 2 is that good. My review will be up as soon as the embargo lifts tomorrow, but as a sneak peak: 5/5

All I know so far is that he is the owner/founder of Aperture Science. There's also a painting of him in the game, so I doubt we will get to really see him.

@irken004 Those nine test subjects are probably the "Infected" users of the ARG. As for myself, I'm going to play some Super Meat Boy. Portal 2 isn't going to pre-release itself!

Since all it is saying is current cpus, I wonder if leaveing them running in the back ground is enough.

@Rob_mc According to the ARG wiki, leaving the games on in the background will count as more time towards the bar.

Has anyone noticed that the Super Meat Boy CPU count on the GLaDOS @ Home web-page has been decreasing?

EDIT: I just realized that the CPU count does not affect the progress bar. I'm stupid.

...I'm bored, lol. Will it still help if that certain game's meter has already maxed out? I only have Audiosurf, lol.

So after a night's sleep, I realised that I can barely remember individual puzzles within this game. I remember the plot and characters with crystal clarity, but the actual game is very forgettable. An amazing, breathtaking experience, but as a game, Portal 2 is quite bland, I feel.

@WaltzElf That doesn't really surprise me. Whenever I talk about Valve, I like to say that they make amazing experiences, not amazing games. Either way, I'm pre-loading my copy right now. Hopefully I'll be done before the launch happens (I believe that I will, seeing as I'm currently at 77% and I'm getting close to 1.4 MBs per second).

This is just stupid now, sick of valve really, Street release has been broken over here, going to go and buy myself a copy, with my refund in my pocket.

Sooo, what's up with the Projected Launch and the "Axillary Power" countdown thingy at the bottom? Like, it seems like the bottom countdown will finish first...I'm confused...lol

It's looking like EBGames was the culprit here, not Valve (who had nothing to do with it at all), and not EA (the local distributor of the retail game).

I'm wondering if I should publish my review. It's meant to be under embargo until 7:01PM, but the game is available now, and my review is sitting there, ready to go live.

Disagree. They made the FPS fun for me again, that alone means I can't agree with you, even in a "different strokes, different folks" should of way.
