As a lot of the members here probably could have guessed, I am a Nintendo fan boy in the most extreme sense. Because of this I am a bit lacking in certain pieces of knowledge pertaining to the competition's consoles. I have a PSP go and found a little game called Patapon 2 about a year ago and fell in love with it. Well today, April 12th is the release date of Patapon 3! Being that I have the go (I do have a normal PSP but never use it) I must rely on downloading the game and can't just stroll out and buy it. So my question to any Sony fan out there is what's the deal with games being added to the Playstation Store? Like, is there a certain day like Monday is on Nintendo platforms? And what is the deal with downloadable versions of retail games? Do the downloads usually get added on the game's actual release date or does it take a while? Thanks in advance!
@ bboy2970 the updates in the US are generally pretty late, usually somewhere around 6:00 or so but it varies each week just dont expect much earlier than that. For big games (such as patapon 3) the games will be added on the day it is released but it all depends on the publisher etc
@smithers: Thanks a lot for the info! Now at least I can stop checking my PSP every 30 minutes for the update Good to know Patapon will likely be added today. I thought that would be the case given that its a Sony property but just wanted to be safe
