One day update?
What sort of connection have you got?

I got a crappy 1MB connection and yet it downloads within 1 hour.
Christ i feel the need to teach people on how to get a faster connection with the PS3.

If anyone has issues with NAT types,i will make a video on HOW to get NAt Type 1 so you can have a fast connection.

Well, now I'm planning on getting a PS3 for my B-day.

3 Mbps down that works perfectly everywhere else, with an Open NAT and static IP address... not even setting the PS3 as a DMZ helped... (it did help NWFC, but not PSN).

Ive never supported the Console War Debate. I am glad that other gamers will be able to experience FF. Its just always been a Playstation exclusive I hate to see it expanded. I dont want Mario on PS3/360 or Halo on PS3, etc. Kinda down that line. Its a 3rd Party Game it has the right to do what it pleases. They have to make money too.

I do not like how FF13 is on the 360.
It should have remained on a Sony console where it belongs at this stage.(See SE's betrayal to Nintendo)

Well really you have an issue that has not affected millions of other gamers so i don't understand that.
I can log into PSN with 5 seconds with my crappy internet.(i can make a video if you like?)
So i don't understand your issue. Try going to port forward.com and MANUALLY port everything for each game you own.

Oh, so Sony can "betray" Nintendo but it can't "betray" Sony? And Final Fantasy should stay on PS3, but Square should do whatever they want to make money? Anything else we should know?

If a third party has the resources to support all or multiple systems, they ought to. If I'm playing a good game on PS3, I would like nothing more than for 360-owning friends to be able to share that experience.

And yes i think it should stay on Sony consoles like it has been seen FF7 which blew everyone away and was a reason why SE and Sony are such a big success.
I liked the Nintendo FF games but i love the Sony ones even better.
Randomly to make more money SE decides to put it on 360.
Thats rather annoying to loyal fans as everyone else has saw with the huge backlash on SE.
But w/e,we're getting the better version.

So I've definitely played too much Call of Duty in the past few days.

It's gotten to the point where it's now the only other game I can close my eyes and imagine myself playing, on just about any map. lol

Only other game is Tetris. I swear I can even keep track of lines.

Mine only took 20 minutes and my connection is less than perfect.

Why was it okay to leave Nintendo entirely, and yet now -- despite the fact that they aren't even leaving Sony -- they shouldn't release the game on 360? It has nothing to do with loyalty. It has a larger install base in the largest region for gaming: North America.

It's not "random" if it's "to make more money." Making money is the goal, and if you want them to keep making games of this scale on this budget, you ought to want them to make money.

If we are indeed getting "the better version," I don't understand why anyone would prefer that fewer people should be able to play the game. The more who can play the game, the better. Doesn't hurt anyone for it to be on 360.

Some updates only take me 30 mins which i find alright. It doesn't bother me that much. I don't even know why this update took my ps3 so long to download . An average PSN title only takes me about 10 minutes tops, unless it's a really big file then i'd say 35 minutes.My connection is decent as far as i know . MAG actually took 2 hours for me to download, by far the longest time downloading a demo.

@Sean.... Adam is right. Final Fantasy the original was developed for the NES and then had multiple follow up games on not only home consoles but several handheld iterations. They went to Playstation because of the FMV they could produce on the DVDs that just wasnt possible on the N64, and Microsoft was not developing games for home consoles or had one for that matter when FF7 released. PS2 only had the largest Home Console install base in the world so they followed up with PS2 for FFX, FFXII and FFXII-2 and the online one. Now 360 has a larger install base in N. America so that is why you are seeing it hit here the same day as PS3, and it was released only for PS3 in Japan, as the Japs really dont care much for the Microsoft system at all. They are about install base and money. You really cant blame them, but as it does feel like it belongs to Playstation for anyone who is a long time fan, truth is, it really all started with Nintendo. If Wii could handle the games and Nintendo starts developing HD Machines that could handle the games, I know that it would be on the Nintendo system as well.

My friend has it, we play tournaments there from time to time, so don't really need it myself. But it will come, in the future. Maybe when the 2010 version comes out.

Disgaea 3 will keep you plenty busy for a long while. I wouldn't worry about it if you can't decide on another game for now.

No,i said that in reference to your mistyped word so that confused me.
Its hard to believe is all that SE is putting FF on Xbox.
If you were a big Playstation fan like myself you'd understand how frustrating and how annoying that is.
Basically Square-Enix is trying to make more money.

Whats next? Twisted Metal for 360?

When i think of FF i think of a Sony IP. thats why i'm outraged by squares porting. (i said it before tho,the PS3 version is the way to go and count my word for it,no need to swap out like 4 discs or any compressed audio.)

Don't fool yourself, Sony IP? pfft, It wasn't too long ago it was a Nintendo IP, and look how well it performed with Sony after the switch.

Square-Enix trying to make more money? Noooooo! A company out to make money, inconceivable. Don't you think they deserve it? It's not like you're going to play the 4 disc version or anything so why do you even care?
