One of the most interesting points it makes is one I was TRYING to describe before: The PS3's graphics chip is crap because it doesn't need to exist at all. The system was originally meant to run solely on the Cell to begin with, and Uncharted 2 is an excellent example of what can be accomplished when you go that route. Also, the main point of the article was that the PS3's smoothing capabilities are better than ANY other gaming device on the market, including high-end PC's. Go PS3!

@Stuff..... that is a very interesting article you got there my man. Somewhere over a year ago I myself had read something about the graphics card not even needed in the PS3 and the few specs that fanboys have raved over being limited in the PS3 to the 360, that those specs were just there to Help out Devs to eventually learn to use the Cell. I downloaded the mad moxxi dlc and it isn't what I looked forward too. The Challenges get repetetive and the bank can barely hold many weapons. I wouldn't suggest buying it if you wanted to. You8 als ohave to complete 5 rounds in an arena for it to save and when you die you have to go back to the first wave of the last round. Then in the bigger challenges you have to beat 20 rounds which will take around 3 hours before it can save. It is fun if you play with 2 or 3 other people but by yourself or with one friend it isn't very great

Got my Level 70 on MW2 today, and also got my wife hooked. She is now like Level 13. She has been playing on the PS3 in the living room and Ive been in my Game Room all day playing. Kinda fun getting to shoot your wife online Im going to get my AK47 Mastery then Prestige so I can get my cool Titles and Emblems. Now I gotta finish up Single Player and Spec Ops and start going full on into Demon Souls.

@everyone how good is PURE for the PS3? I saw a couple yesterday at an Entertainment store on the deals basket... only thing keeping it "sealed" was a bit of tape, and it was $35 (there were two of them for PS3 in the same condition, and two for 360 in near-mint condition, but those were $50), is it worth it at that price? any risks when buying games that could be scratched? they are new units that get damaged by stupid customers and workers that aren't careful with the games on the shelves...

they also had Dead Space and Monopoly at $50 and slightly better preserved than PURE... and the one that was still completely factory sealed with just the box damaged was Sing It and it was $35... but since iot only comes with 1 mic I passed...

PURE is fantastic on PS3. Graphics are amazing its a very polished game. Its a dang hard game as well once you get further into the game. Dead Space is absolutely amazing game. I think I paid like $15 USD for it New so if you can import it you can get it a lot cheaper. Ive bought quite a few used games from Blockbuster for PS3 and I have never had a scratched disc or disc that didnt work because of a scratch, so I dont see that being a problem.

I'm intrigued and skeptical of Heavy Rain. I like the idea of a dynamic story-based game, but it looks like there is a lot of action that boils down to timing button presses with flashing pictures of buttons, which could not look more dull.

Cograts on the Veteran finish on MW2. I still havent finished the campaign as Ive dumped over 50 hrs into the online I tried the other day to get into a match with you but never could lol. I might work on that some today. Heavy Rain does in fact look great. Remimds me of Dreamfall, Indigo Prophecy, etc. The outstanding choices you can make that permantly affect your character, all the way down to stripping to get what you want lol, look very promising. Its been in development for what 6 or so years as well. Im thininkin it will be incredible.

@Strofan.... Oh, I didnt send an invite, I was trying to join as I like to play against my friends some lol. I actaully finished up the single player game, I thought It was on Hard but I guess I screwed up and put it on Normal. Oh well, It will be awhile until I finish it up for Platinum anyways lol. So far Ive put right at 50 Hrs into the game lol.

I started playing the online again but still only have 11 hours into multiplayer and am only level 29, I thought that the veteran campaign was really easy. I have put like 60 hours into the game total with spec ops taking me like 30 hours to complete. And if you think Veteran was hard wait till you do spec ops. Veteran in cod 6 is easier than CoD Classic on Regular. I can also help anyone who needs to do spec ops as I have gotten 45 of the stars solo. I also would like to organize a private match with only friends and have a couple of matches with like 5 or 6 players on a team

You can't hit civilians if you want to get the three medals.

You have to do it in the level ssdd in single player campaign took me 20 tries on ps3 then 2 tries on xbox because I knew what to do I can't help you with that one as you have to do it in campaign.
Spec ops would also be helpful if you had a mic so I could communicate to you

So you guys may already know..... But Microsoft has forked over enough cash yet again to another company to buy exclusive content, well thankfully this time its only Timed Exclusive Content. Bad thing is its the two map packs for Modern Warfare 2. PS3 will get them but its going to be awhile. Microsoft has to buy their fan I guess, just one more reason that I will never give Microsoft anyother dime of the thousands I spend on gaming every year.

That's business... all a Company wants is to turn a profit at all costs (as long as it's legal)...they won it fair and square, and actually helped fund the development of the DLC (although this time around they didn't paid the whole cost of it like it was the case with the 2 exclusive GTA games on Xbox 360).

@DarkG.... its still BS. Dont care who produced the game or what company buy it out. Gamers are what matter and when a gamer purchases a game that is now $60 F..... USD and then months later gets screwed out of Add-On Content wich is also now developed before the games release, and then released at a later time, because they bought the game on their system of choice is BS. This kinda crap should be released in a statemt prior to the games launch as with what was done with Arkam Asylum, not that I agree with Sonys limited content either. This one though, I will Never buy a Microsoft system again. This one takes the cake for me. Im over it with Microsoft. Ive always been a fan of the little guys and to see Microsoft pull this crap is it for me. Ill be damned if I even turn on my 360 again.

well, you chose the inferior version of the game, you knew what you were getting into... also, depending on how big the DLC is, it could actually be their choice from a business point of view...

see, if they release it exclusively on Xbox 360 first, not only will they appeal to the biggest installed userbase of their game, but will also make most of the people that would buy the DLC buy it there, where they only have to pay 30% of the price to Microsoft... then when they release it for PS3, they get the remaining amount of possible sales that don't get them as much money (they have to pay 30% to Sony of sale price + bandwidth costs).

So, from a business point of view for the publisher, it makes a lot more sense to put DLC on Xbox 360 first to try and get as much income as possible.

@DarkG..... inferior, dude come on. The reason I bought on PS3 is beause Me, both brothers and brother in law, 4 of my best friends have all left 360 as a main console for the PS3 and I PLAY THE GAMES ONLINE WITH THEM. As far as the difference, the 360 does run a little better online, but not by much and being able to play with my brothers and friends on the PS3 is WAY better than all the DLC and whatever you call superior version of the game. I can afford to have both system, and i do. Stop acting like I dont own the damn system as I do, and you should know as I sent you a friend invite yesterday. I like the games better on PS3, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Demon Souls, etc and Jet Moto and Crash, Sly Cooper series have been some of my favs since Playstion released. A few specs and DLC will never change that. Not to mention I have two PS3s in my house and my wife plays hers online with me on mine and dont have to split screens.

exactly the opposite, I know you own both consoles, that's why I said you chose the inferior version for whatever reason, and that you shouldn't be surprised/pissed/angry when this kind of thing happens...

Actually, the reason It pisses me off is the fact that unlike with Arkham Asylum where the DLC was limited to PS3 wich was announced way before release, it wasn't the case with MW2. This news should have came out before release. There is no console specs or whatever to make it right or the fact the Live users have to pay for service. This is bad service to the gamers and I will be one of the many to let Infinity Ward know about it. As I said before though. My family and friends, being able to play online with, is better than any DLC I could get.
