@Fuzzy - my friend got it for the 3D support and loved it (and I played the DLC and it was a fun full 3 hours) so there are definitely worse ways to spend 10 bucks. That said--most people get this game for like 20 bucks total now, so it's not quite as good a value as it seemed when the game was still 60 bucks...then again--if you're into 3D, it's damn-near required

@Waltz - to be fair I read it in highschool...and it's been a few years and more than a few bad decisions since that experiment ended That said--I almost wouldn't have even made the connection had the box not informed me of its existence.

EDIT - @slap - nice bike!! Be careful--I know too many people who've been injured riding them. And yeah...I think I beat Enslaved in 2 days. Haven't played a game that way since the first Uncharted....or wait--Heavy Rain....or wait--Uncharted 2.....

God I love PS3

So after taking a long break from playing some online, I booted up my PS3 with some Uncharted 2 to get in some online action...My god has that jailbreak literally destroyed the online component of that game, Same with Killzone 2 (When I could even GET a match going...).

@Slapshot: I LOVE Enslaved, one of the best games ever, IMO. As for Monkey's name, you know Enslaved is loosely based on The Journey to the West, right? All three main characters get their names from that book. Monkey is especially brilliant because of that scrap of cloth that hangs off his pants like a tail, his cloud (in the book Monkey rides on a real cloud), and both Monkeys have a staff as their main weapon. Luckily, character wise, Enslaved's Monkey isn't like the one in the book (he's sort of an ass. He has the mind of a five year old but godlike powers, you can see how that causes problems XD).

Anyway, I finally got Castle Crashers last night!!! Who else has it, I want to play online!

@Slap
Sweet bike dude! Good luck on getting the RYU tag.

@Swerd
I found that battle in Trip's city and all those bugs frustrating as well. Overall I still enjoyed the game. I purchased the dlc but had no idea it included 3D support so I'll probably play that today.

@Everyone
Have any of you downloaded Wolf of the Battlefield Commando 3 off the PSN? I downloading it and started up the game to see if any patches had been released. Sure enough there is a patch but it keeps freezing up my PS3 each time I install the update. I've already done this 3 times and decided to just not update the game for now. It works without the update but it's annoying because it signs me out of the PSN each time and constantly asks me to update the game. I've searched online and was only able to find one single comment from someone saying the update doesn't work with all Slims. This is the first time I've ever encountered something like this. I'll most likely be emailing Sony about this but I'm just wondering if any of you have the game and this same problem.

I was just checking out the PS Blog. PS Plus subscribers get online storage for game saves starting tomorrow! I had no idea we were getting this feature so I'm really looking forward to it.

@SilentJ: Online storage? Sounds pretty sweet. I originally was going to wait a while to get plus because better things would probably be added later, and it looks like I was right. I need to spring and get PS+ sometime soon

@BedCommando: You really think it's that big a problem? I've played a lot of Uncharted 2 over the last couple of months, and I don't think it's any worse than it's always been. You get more glitchers than hackers, really, and not even TOO many of them, IMO.

@SilentJ: That feature was leaked info at least a couple of weeks ago. Nice to see it's actually true. It's the fact that even "copy-protected" files work with it that's REALLY exciting. No more lost Demon's Souls saves for PS Plus members! Also of high interest to me is Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing, as I only have the Gold Miles to go for Plat, but I lost my miles when my old PS3 broke. Stuff like that. Huzzah for a massive improvement to save file handling!

My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

@Swerd... thanks man. I've been riding for nearly 8yrs and I've had my fair share of wrecks myself. It's dangerous as all get out, but once you start it's hard to ever quit. I also have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world too, so it really isn't anything new to me. Haha. On that note, the ship I was in today took a direct hit from a water spout. Barely even felt it the ships so big.

I've yet to see a glitch in Enslaved, but that could very well be because of the patches. There have been a few frustrating parts, but no apparent glitches, and I'm on Chapter 11.

I didn't know copy-protected files were included. That makes this doubly awesome!

@Slap
I believe I downloaded the Enslaved patches but I still encountered many parts throughout the game where sound effects were missing. Have you experienced this at all?

@SilentJ - I had some missing sound effect issues too - you're not alone. Granted this was a few months ago during my playthrough...

Oh look. A Warriors game is getting terrible reviews in the press.

F%^($& this crap. Sick of idiot self important "journalists." Games journalism is the only form of writing where subjective, emotional wankery is rewarded with these people getting full time jobs.

It irritates me that every single Warriors game in western press is critically slammed, while it's critically praised in Japanese press.

Why it irritates me is because I can guarantee you the reviewer of each and every Warriors game has only played it for a hour or two, tops. They refuse to take the context of the game into account - dismissing them as mere "button mashers" without understanding that people are playing these games because they're historical recreations, as much for the combat itself.

They are also reviewers that clearly played the games on the easiest difficulty settings, because I can promise you, on hard mode, they're not button mashers.

Simple solution: stop reading the reviews. I'm sure the rest of the Warriors fans have.

That's not really an option for me.

And besides, the misrepresentation of a game is a bigger problem than how it irritates me personally. It was actually the reviews that kept me away from Warriors game originally - my first one was Samurai Warriors 3, which I only played because I was sent a copy to review myself. And when I did play it I realised how misunderstood the series is by western press. There are other potential Warriors fans out there that have kept away because of the reviews, I'm sure.

It's irresponsible journalism. That's what upsets me.

Woah I just glanced through a few reviews of Legends of Troy...this game may actually stink lol. Sorry to throw fuel on the fire there...

What reviews? I didn't see anything on Metacritic, and all I see are scores on Gamerankings without links (magazine reviews).

Edit: And the average score on Gamerankings currently for Warriors of Troy certainly isn't unusual for a Warriors game. It's incorrect, but not unusual.

I did a First Impressions article on the game awhile back over at Movemodo, and I'm about to write up an article about this for the site as well as we finally know it's coming outside of Japan. I'm really looking forward to this one!

@josh & swerd... now that you guys mentioned it I do remember a sequence where the sound got really screwy for a few minutes. I literally almost forgot about that. After spending so much time paying so much attention to every detail of the games for reviews, I tend to just enjoy what I can play on my own leisure, and pretty much dismissed it. I already knew the game was quite buggy, and I was expecting much worse. I did last night have to restart a sequence as the chapter got stuck and didn't progress itself as it should have. It's buggy, but still a really great title. Solid 8/10 material for me. Deduct for the glitches and somewhat repetitive fighting mechanics to a 7/10, and then add back one point for the fantastic character, story and just being such a gripping title in general.

@Waltz.... I've played my share of Warriors games, and I always like them for a few hours and then tend to get bored because of the repetition. That is just me personally. I do think that the games need to start spreading themselves out in between releases though.
