Bought a new 160GB ps3 slim on BF, came with Uncharted 2 and Medal of Honor.
Found some videos to hopefully fix my ps3 phat that YROD'd, if I can at least get my save data and/or my game disc out, I'll be happy. Then I can sell it broken for $100. (Seriously, lol.) Even more if I can fix it adequately.

@Swerd.... like it's harder than Ys7? Wow, that one is dang difficult, but still incredible. Ive yet to beat it still though as Ive been playing my PS3 like crazy. Oh, and Endless Ocean is really fun, don't just throw it to the side like I did and miss out on a great game. It sat on my shelf for months and I decided top pop it in the Wii one day bored and what I found was great.
@Waltz... yep, I was going to do that one too. A Europe review copy came in so Jamie is going to take it on. I'm really curious to see how the game is, as I've got it on my Gamefly queue and I think I'm going to just leave it there as the game looks really fun. I don't know though because I want to give Kirbys Epic Yarn and DK Wii a go too.
Well I gotta play through Uncharted 1 first which is mostly good but also pretty repetitious. Like, shoot guys, do something, go back the way you came, shoot guys, now turn THAT way and continue. Repeat. I'm in CH6.
But yeah, playing MOH:Frontline HD right now. Will letcha know when I'm ready for MOH online.

Yeah I loved Frontline back in the day and mostly still do. No checkpoints is GD annoying though.

Tron's decent so far, guys. Plays very similar to a Prince of Persia game, with wall running and stringing combos together to create a pakour effect. Pretty fluid combat too.
'tron' is a cool setting too, but the plot is incompressible unless you are a tron fan, so be aware of that.

Hm...I've never been too fond of PoP. Is there a collection aspect like it the HD PoP?
My sisters boyfriend was over and my and my sister were talking about blu ray combo packs that have dvd for her and blu ray for ps3, he(being and avid fanboy of all things three hundred and sixty) up and said - "Havent you heard that blu ray dvds are breaking ps3s like crazy?"

@Strofan.... yeah Tron on XBOX was a blast. Not without its flaws, but fun all the same.
@Waltz.... glad your having fun with it. I'm looking forward to playing it myself, though I did push it back in my queue so I could get Epic Yarn and Vanquish and The Shoot as quick hitters and then Tron
I think they were basing that statement off of last gen. Using DVDs a bunch in your PS2/Xbox DID wear out the disc drive/laser faster. This is because with DVDs the data is constantly streaming whereas a game disc is usually only used when loading (so not 100% of the time.)
I don't know if this theory/situation carries over to Blu Ray drives though.

I really enjoy Tron. The pakour elements are well thought out, and simple but enjoyable. I like you can call up a dotted line if you get lost to point you in the right direction. I like the combat, which is fast and visually impressive. I like the bike sections, which feel fast, and the tank sections, which feel powerful.
I cant say this is an absolute must have game, because it's nothing revolutionary, but for Tron fans, or people who like the Prince of Persia, it's a good buy.
Havent given online a whirl yet, but spent a really good block of time playing solo now.
Hey guys, really enjoying this used PS3 I got last week but I got a question about the hard drive. Its the 160gb one but its only showing that I have a total of 111gb of free memory and I'm not sure where the other 49gbs are. I guess some is getting took up by the system itself but it can't be that much. Do you think I should format my PS3 to recover the rest of the gbs like that or what?

@Cheapo The system does take up some memory so you'll never actually have a full 160GBs of space but I don't think it should be as low as 111GBs. It's probably because of the demos and actual game data.
you should definately format it when you buy used. i did that with my last one and got like 10GB back. Note that you'll never quite have the full 160GB (as all HDs use some space for behind the scenes stuff.)
