WHAT THE !@#$ YOU EUROPEANS HAVE VAGRANT STORY ON PSN?

.... I just bought a UK PSN card to get Flight Control HD for my wife so Im getting it and Im all good now, but yeah

Yeah, now try look at it from the EU perspective.
Let's just say you're from EU. Now take a look at the US PS1 selections.
You'll be more than cussing.

At-least the PS1 games on the EU store are picking up steam though.
We got like two PS1 games two weeks ago or the week before.
This week, we got Kula World for PS Plus which I remember correctly was a beach ball puzzle game and was good. But then again, since it's a PS Plus game, who know's if it'll become available to everyone. (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong that PS1 games on the Plus service eventually become available for everyone, that would be great.)

Objection

Currently playing God of War 3 (just defeated Hercules and Aphrodite in very different ways) and LEGO Rock Band (sad that its music is often more fun than other entries). Once I get those done, I'll finally start GTA4.

@Stuffgamer
My first order with Amazon was Killzone. I ordered it last year on a Friday night and was surprised to receive it Monday morning. My recent order was placed a week ago on Sunday night but I didn't receive it until Friday. Can't really complain since the shipping was free and the prices were great. Spirit Tracks cost me a measly $19. Anyway, I'm glad to say I finally have my Sony wireless keypad and bluetooth headset.

@Slapshot/OB
Looking forward to God of War 3 myself. I want to play some God of War but my friend let me borrow COD World at War so I'm trying to get as many trophies as I can before returning it. The fast shipping through Amazon sounds cool, Slappy, but I'd rather wait a few days and just get it shipped for free. I hate waiting for my shipments but I also hate paying more than I have to.

@Chad
The demo for Vanquish looked insane! Definitely gotta try it out for myself.

It's available to everyone. "Roll Away" as it's known in North America, is a lot of fun - real blast from the past and one of the better puzzlers on the PSN. Not sure I would justify paying for it in itself, though - Too many new releases I want first, but as a part of PS+? Yes please.

And can you please stop whining about the European PSN? You do it on a daily basis. Just go and buy a freaking US PSN card if it upsets you that much. They're pretty cheap, too, given the exchange rate. You still get plenty of games otherwise, anyway.

You should come and visit Australia some time, when retail releases and downloads alike are regularly missed for release - and this is from the European store. We get much less than you guys. But you know what? Life is more important than worrying over something like that.

Vanquish is on my list of game to get as well, the demo was awesome.

Same here, man. I especially like the visuals. Sure it's a bit generic in terms of design, but the use of the colors keeps it visually interesting.

@Waltz: A friend posted a link to IGN's review of that one on Facebook a few days ago...it was a hilarious read. 2.5 final score.

I read the review, and as usual with IGN, it's terrible. The review makes the game sound merely average and flawed (which it is), and then gives it a shocking score for dramatic impact.

By their own scoring system, it's a 5 or thereabouts according to the review. And really, that's about what it deserves. Nothing about the game is outright broke, it's just inferior, based on the demo.

But never mind me, after IGN (and even worse, Gamespot)'s treatment of Samurai Warriors 3, I have lost all respect for their editorial policy and sub editors.

You ever had any to begin with? Silly Waltz...

Really, I only read reviews on those sites when they're linked as relevant to a discussion or for comedic value. I don't trust their opinions far as I can throw them, and I've got a terrible throwing arm.

Anyone going to get that PsP mini Zenonia?? I haven't heard of it until today i think i may just take the plunge Tuesday and get it.

@odd: I'd heard rumors it was coming, but never saw confirmation. I already have the game on DSiWare, anyway. It's decent, in a grind-fest action-RPG time-waster kind of way.

EDIT: Of substantially greater interest should be Alundra, a PS1 Classic releasing on Tuesday that is basically a top-down Zelda-style piece of pure, unadulterated awesomeness. It has a really strange and relatively dark story involving your character's ability to enter the weird, twisted nightmares of the local townsfolk. I could not recommend it more for only $6 or $10 (not sure which, but I've heard Squenix currently owns the rights to the game, so the latter may be more probable), especially considering that original discs are fairly rare and expensive.

Yes Alundra is on my radar, i have never played it before but i read many good things.Youtube videos point out to me that this is a must have (i love the genre). Even Arc the Lad seems interesting, which would be better?
Regardless though Bravo to Sony for Ps1 classics this week, the downloadable content each week is getting better, I simply cannot keep up with all this good content

If I had to choose between the two, I'd take Alundra in a heartbeat. Of course, I've never actually PLAYED Arc the Lad...I tried it briefly at a local game store a few years ago and didn't really "get" it, so to speak. Alundra is more intuitive, especially to the average Zelda fan.

This sounds good. Time to get a new US PSN card methinks

Axoloth

@Waltz: How do you endure the constant changing between regions? I mean, even if you have a US PSN game on your system, you can't play it if your system isn't linked to your US account, right? And if you switch, you can't play your EU games (or Australian games, dunno if you have your own PSN zone) and so you have to keep switching. Or have you found a way to get around it?
Because if so, you have to tell me. Like, now.

I have a Backloggery now! Nothin' fancy, but feel free to add me as a friend.

If you buy a game on your PS3, then as far as I've experienced so far, you can access that game on all of your accounts. I have three accounts on my PS3 and so far I've had no trouble playing Chocobo Racing or Space Invaders (Japan and US accounts respectively) on my Aussie account.

The only problem I have encountered is trying to play PS + content on an account other than the one you signed Plus up for.
