@SilentJ: Amazon's free shipping is a variable. I preordered the Beauty and the Beast Blu-Ray using free shipping, and it arrived today...only one day after retail release. Often, orders I make for items that have already released come well within a week. So basically, I have no complaints.

for anyone interested i wrote an NHL 11 review, really for no reason but it sounded like fun haha. I could post it on here to see what yall think but its pretty long. if youd like me too i will, or ill email it to you or something

Started playing Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. I'm only up to the 3rd "level" but it is amazing lol. Art and graphics are beautiful. Feels a lot like God of War, but not completely. When you finish a level you can go back and do it again for unlockables and trials and the likes. I can't wait to get further into this game.

Edit: The map is showing 12 Chapters with 5 levels in Chapter 1, so I'm guessing 35 levels in the game.

@y2 - so jealous...the oft-mentioned Amazon free slowpping (shippow?) is currently infectin mah new castlevania hotness. Played the demo and loved the action...just didn't love the framerate (at all...yuck) but I've heard it's a nonissue in the real game...

For people with PS3s, anyway. 360 owners however....

Then again I'm sure they're used to that.

Amazon has a upgrade that you can purchase for like $70 a year and it offers One Day Shipping and I get my stuff super fast always. My wife mainly uses it but on the rare occassion I find something I want it gets here the next day because of it.

@SilentJ.... yeah finishing up God of War 3 is on my list of things to do today if I can. I planning on wrapping up a few games over the next few wees off work while recovering. As of last night I havent been able to even watch movies without it making me sick I did get to the first save point in Shantae right before falling asleep with my DSi still on

Vanquish is on my list of game to get as well, the demo was awesome.

Oh yeah, I've been stoked for months. I would have bought it based on the fact that it's from PlatinumGames alone, (Bayonetta, OMFG Game of the Year for me) but the demo was ridiculously fun to play. I'm not a huge fan of shooters or third-person anything, so this game is definitely going to be one of my favorites of the year!

@WaltzElf: I hadn't heard of that title, so I looked it up...it seems it was called "Roll Away" in America for no apparent reason. I don't think we have it on PS1 Classics under any title as yet, though.

@Dezner: From the Bayonetta people? Eww...they darn well better have fixed the tech issues with the PS3 version this time around. As it stands, however, I have no confidence in that developer.

@Roopa: Most games take about a year to go Greatest Hits, so it'll probably be a bit yet. That is, of course, assuming both of those will at all. I don't doubt Red Dead Redemption will, but I dunno about Just Cause 2.

So God of War and its truely Epic Ending is fantastic, the only problem is Im still having complications from the surgery and I literally almost passed out from nausea during the like hour long end battle sequences Needless to say my wife was pissed when she got home to find me in bad shape with a controller in my hand and complaining of motion sickness with Kratos hacking away onscreen. Oh.... the things we do as gamers!

@Slappy: The things SOME of us do as gamers...I know better than to play when I'm really too sick/weak. Suffering through motion sickness to play a game is NOT something I would do.

EDIT, some hours later: I seem to have found myself with access to the Dead Space 2 multiplayer beta. I didn't even ask for or particularly WANT that, but there it was in my inbox a couple of hours ago. My brother got one too, but he just deleted it outright. I haven't deleted mine, but I don't know that I'm actually going to use it. Before anyone asks, it's non-transferable.

Me and FPS still arent getting along to this dang motions sickness BS so prob want be on MAG for a day or two
