The 60GB's have been known to die big time.
I would HIGHLY recommend getting a slim or an 80GB no B/C Model as they have no reports of YLOD so far.

I have a USED 80GB and I've had it for 8 months and it seems to be doing excellent due to the revamp of the Motherboard or well slight revamp but it has taken effect as I see no reports of the 80GB's dying. :0

On the PS3 System Settings there is a Transfer files option due to the Firmware 3.15 Update that the PS3 got.
You will need an Ethernet wire to transfer them,which is quite weird because I thought they were only used for Internet stuff only but nope,you can trans fer files with a double ended Ethernet Wire.

You can also use a USB Flash drive but it will only transfer basic stuff like Videos,Music,Photos ect.
Some PS3 saved data is locked so you can't transfer them using a Flash drive.

Anyway,does anyone own Tekken 6? I might go buy it as I loved the series and I guess I could find it cheap now. lol

Well if u gonna get Street Fighter IV, u should wait for Super Street Fighter IV that will be out on the 27th of this month as well... they added 10 new characters, 2 bonus rounds and the online just got better too!

Unless you are already Really good at Street Fighter the game will have so pissed off at its insane difficulty. I flipping hated it, but that's just me. I recommend picking up Blazblue Calamity Trigger. It's got Awesome characters, simple controls much like street fighter that are easy to pick up but deep to master. Online is incredible and never lags Like sf4. I love it, and its cheap in the US, just released in Europe.

I can't say which is better since I have not played Street Fighter 4 but I am a huge fan of the Tekken series.
Tekken is more realistic while Street Fighter is over the top.
I'd say pick up Tekken but thats me being biased. lol

Find them both for cheap as they are kinda old now.

Does anyone here play Age of Booty or Greed Corp? The online play for both is unfortunately dead

You can't go wrong with Street Fighter. SFIV is a bit more complicate than than the previous games, but hopefully you'll be able to manage. If you do get it, I recommend getting Super Street Fighter 4, because it'll be cheaper, and it'll have better multiplayer options.

Still, Street Fighter is basically an Everyman's game: so long as you can get into it's style of gameplay, you'll enjoy it. I know people who don't really like fighting games very much who enjoy it, including SF4, and I know big fighter fanatics who swear by it. Personally, I whole-heartedly recommend it. I just have one question: what fighting games have you played? Because this ain't no Soul Calibur, and it ain't no Marvel vs. Capcom. Those games are of a whole different breed, but if this is the kind you're looking for, you'll probably love it.

@waltz... I havent played either of the two. My current PSN game ive played lately is Magic Orbz wich I think you would enojoy based on the other games you have liked.

@MickeyMac..... sorry If I came off really negative on SS4. It is a good game, but the tutorials for learning the character suck royally and unless you are very familiar with them and the frame counts. When it says "back and charge then forward-down punch" and you do it over and over and over for an hour and it never fires the dang move to go online and find out ohhhhhh its hold down and back to charge in place and/or punch prior and not let go of the button then hopefully you can time it right to let go and maybe fire the combo or hit...... ok got that one and then next is Way worse. That was it for me. After maybe 10 hours of trying to complete ONE characters moves in the challenge mode and I couldnt do it for all the hidden button presses, and i was over it. I did beat the game on Normal and Easy several times with multiple characters, but compared to Blazblue it just fails in comparison in the fun factor. Its much easier to play and none of the hidden button presses, and frame count stuff. SS4 is just Way to Complicated for me to enjoy as I like to master a character. Blazblue has the same limited moves set just like SF but its much easier to learn the moves and the balance of all the characters strenghts and weaknesses is so perfect I recommend it over SF big time.

No it was weird, i could tell you guys had the head set but couldn't hear anything. I'm going to check my settings, I've never tweaked them before. I do have a headset, it last for about an hour. So i can definitely use it and I just might next time. It would be easier than having to type that's for sure.

I was actually looting Crimson fastness over and over until my inventory was full, but in the second playthrough(enemies are stronger and guns are better) and dropping into your game just to drop all the level 48 to level 50 guns i picked up. I call that power boosting LOL.

but even better... there is a glitch in multiplayer. You can drop everything in your inventory to a friend and press the ps button ,quit the game. You have to do it that way because it doesn't save the game. Restart the game and because you left the game without saving, you still have everything you dropped in your inventory.
Whenever you get to level 48 (so you can use them) i can drop you over 40 plus Orange weapons.LOL and I'm talking about RARE dark orange guns too. Some people can go through many play throughs and still not get some of these guns. It's taken me months of looting to get this collection.
Anyway I found this gun yesterday and it's my most prized possession. I'd say it's the best revolver in the game.I've been searching for it and finally got one.

If you find one Please don't sell it .If you don't want it I'll trade you whatever for it. Mine is a level 44.

I almost got Metal Gear Solid 1 downloaded.

I can finally see what the story is behind this game.
I remember seeing my brother playing it as a kid and it looked boring to me but now I find most games I found boring as a kid to be amazing.

Greed Corp is awesome as a single player game. It's just a very niche game, and the online community is pretty dead.

If you ever get around to buying it, let me know, and we'll play a game.

Truthfully, that's very nearly my honest opinon. Never could stand the cheap impossibility that is the EASIEST difficulty in most fighting games. How am I supposed to learn like that? I did download Marvel vs. Capcom 2 while it was on sale a while back, but I haven't even bothered to actually play it yet...I just expect to suck too badly. About the only thing that helps me (from my experience with the PS2 version): Tron Bonne FTW!

@odd... lol we were both talking to u like crazy, then was like hmmm not too sure u could hear us. Lol. I sold the purple guns last night and well Thanks a whole bunch cause yeah, 5 million bucks lol. That is really going to go a long way. You also dropped a lv 24 Orange revolver that is flipping awesome. One shot kills most all 24 lv and lower. Awesome gun for real. Oh I also read that light blue is the most rare of them all.

Abe's World:Abe's Oddysee is now up for 5 Euro.

Now all the EU store needs is the Spyro Trilogy,Resident Evil Trilogy and Tomb Raider Trilogy,oh and give us Twisted Metal 1 and 2 while your at it,oh and Crash Bandicoot 2......and Crash Bash.

All games above have been on the American PS Store for years....but Europe has not gotten any of them at all.
Its easy to see why people like me are upset with Sony Europe for not uploading these classics.

But I guess today with Abe's World.....maybe..just maybe their listening.
Abe's World is probably not as notable as the other games mentioned but it was a classic in its own right.
Its a puzzle game....sorta like Zelda but in 2D.
It is VERY tough to beat but I assure you,for 5 euro's.....that is a steal.

@Sean: We don't have Crash Bash, and NOBODY has Twisted Metal 1.

5 Euros for Abe's Oddysee, though...they're charging $10 over here. Sounds like you guys actually get a relatively good deal for a change.
