Topic: Kickstarter - Help Fund Indie Games

Was about to post the above. Dude's $23,408 so far.

Eh, props to him I guess.

I've only backed two things in total and I have not regretted a single thing. One was for Nintendo Force and the other an animated series' translation.

But I want a potato salad themed hat you guys know how much I've always talked about wanting salad-themed headwear.

I can't imagine him shouting 4,337 (and counting) names while making the potato salad. But hey, guy's at 45,884 (and counting) though I imagine a good number of those backers will back out at the last second.

I knew I should have gone through with the Kickstarter to order a pizza me and my cousin came up with.

What I've been wondering is why are people taking such issue with this? Who cares how other people spend their money, to each their own. I think people funded it cuz it's hilarious that a guy had the guts to do it. Also it's not like he asked for a fortune he asked for 10 bucks it's not his fault the internet wanted to fund him. Also I think it's kinda cool that he's going to make a live event out of this (is anyone else gonna watch? I know I am LOL). Will I fund him, probably not but I have no issue with this.

Everyone's gonna back out at the last second anyways, so it's all good.

I just thought that I should let you guys know that Mike Gale the developer creating the game Soul Saga has been seriously injured, but despite that he's still working on the game from the bed that he's stuck spending his time in. I'm really touched by his devotion as a game developer and thought that this information should be shared with those who are looking forward to his upcoming Steam/Wii U eshop RPG.

Yogscast's kickstarter was cancelled. They received over 500, 000 dollars and they cancelled development after 2 yrs and apparently they can't refund people's money back.
