Right now I'm working on playing through Master Quest with only 3 hearts. I've also gone through the Water Temple in regular mode without the Zora Tunic with 3 hearts. (You only get 24 seconds underwater when you have 3 hearts)

I really don't know. All i know is that games get easier with every generation of consoles. I like that. If i really like a game, i go from easy to normal to hard. But i can't remember i ever did. There are exceptions like Ninja Gaiden. That game was on easy hardly playable. The same i heard about Demon Souls. I like JRPG's, because you can level up, if you can't beat a boss. I like the savepoint option on VC games as well, because you can pick a good moment, when having much health whenever you want. There are 2 Nintendo games which were hard to beat, named Zelda 3 and Metroid Prime. Super Mario Galaxy 2 was too difficult later on.
1750/1750 on Borderlands. I was loving that game until I hit the Moxxi dlc. Then it became infuriating. I never wanted to look at that game again and even considered snapping my disc in half. Hopefully I'll get over my anger before BL2 hits next year.
I guess for me I would have to say beating all of the original MEga Man games. Those are not the easiest games in the world mind you! Also, I beat Through The Fire and Flames on hard. That's really it.
