Ok so basically a lot feel Nintendo needs to try out other types of games besides the same old. Like was there a time that Nintendo ever tried to make a beat em up game?(Urban Champion does not count.) Or how about FPS or what about games that are played through online only?
Do you have to create a new thread every day or something bad will happen?
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
I don't think it is possible they could make one big enough for about a £500 price tag to be a fair thing.
Yeah, they shouldn't just toss in the amiibos to a theoretical "Nintendo Infinity", especially not the way DI did.
The reason Toys To Life works well in Skylanders is because it ties in with lore in the game- even if you only play single player and don't take your figures with upgrades to play at another house, they still offer something interesting. In Infinity, there's no explanation for them. They're just there. Like, there's no reason given for why you have to put toys on the base to use characters. Because of that, they rather blatantly feel like content keys, since they don't add anything interesting to the game but they're required for new items.
Besides, having to pay that much to unlock everything in a sandbox game is stupid.
I just can't think of a way for them to use amiibos without them feeling tacked-on, unless they give a good explanation for why you need to use amiibos. I hope I'm wrong but it seems like they'll already be tacked on with Smash (they tie in with Trophies, but I see no explanation for why they link up and unlock unique features), and I'm not hopeful to see a good explanation for why they're in Mario Kart.
@technotaylor98 Beat 'em up actually refers to games like Double Dragon and Streets of Rage where you advance through stages beating up baddies along the way. Out of those games, the only one that has that is Brawl (Subspace Emissary mode).

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
They need to create an RPG Racing Puzzle FPS Beat 'Em Up Shoot 'Em Up MMOG Action/Adventure Party Crossover Strategy Visual Novel Singing/Dancing Open World Dating Simulator Arcade Retro-Inspired Hack 'N Slash Life Simulation Edutainment Art Sports/Fitness Exploration Time Management 2.5D Platformer.
I really wish they'd make a traditional JRPG series that was aimed at the Final Fantasy/Dragon Quest crowd. There's a huge market there, especially in Japan. The guys who make Zelda could probably do a great job! I'm thinking of something like Skies of Arcadia on Dreamcast/Gamecube. That's what I imagine a Nintendo JRPG being like. Best game never to get a sequel!
Nintendo? they have almost all genres in their catalog, it is better to say other companies needs genres to create, companies like Square, Rockstar or Konami needs genres because they always do the same games (in last decade they dont innovate anything).
Me gusta jugar videojuegos. Soy de México. Sorry my english grammar. I love the Virtual Console, party and fighting games too.
I would love for them to create a 3d or 2d fighter (Smash is a brawler like power stone). If I could play a game with the Virtua Fighter technical underpinnings but with that unique Nintendo flair that would be awesome. I'd love something that made use of stereotypes/archetypes of Nintendo worlds.
