While GI does tend to focus on PS3/360 stuff (they focus on their main audience, as any publication should), they tend to be fair and even-handed to Ninty, just not as focused on them. It's quite rare that i see something in GI that smacks of fanboyism or unfair anti-N bias.

Neither though i just threw out like 2 years worth of nintendo power magazines. Its not the medium its the fact that most magazine stuff can be found on the internet. (about to make a magazine thread)

Well let me put it to you this way. This months game informer had 0 wii games and only 1 ds game (Super scribblenauts preview). I don't really care about the xbox360 or ps3, but it's cool to look at the pictures. Only reason you should get GI is because of the edgecard (unless you have an xbox360 or ps3). If you want a magazine with wii and ds games and coverage, get nintendo power.
I wasnt told about the free subscription nor did I want it. I get my ingo online, no need to waste paper on me. So maybe tricked is not the best word, but it does it matter?
I do not like the wii at all, it is garbage, Nintendo Power appeals to the wii too much for me, but gameinformer doesn't really appeal to neither wii or ds so I pick Nintendo Power
Nintendo Power has better writing and features and is great for a Nintendo only gamer like myself. However, technically, Gamestop gives out Game Informer for free and you can't beat that.

Don't they reply to their letters or whatever? If so what did they say back to that? Weird they would put that in their magazine if they didn't have something to come back with it, but on the other hand... it's GameInformer
I don't see the Nintendo hate from Game Informers. Yes they aren't always "OMG Nintendo is the best thing ever!", but they for the most part treat Nintendo fairly.
Just because a magazine/gaming website is a multi-platform website doesn't mean they're automatically bias to Nintendo.
And this is coming from a person who threw a fit at IGN over ******** that happened less then a year ago (And telling about it got me banned in here for awhile).
Gameinformer is for all Games, and Nintendo Power is for Nintendo Games

I read both, but being more of a Nintendo gamer, I prefer Nintendo power more. Although some scores for some Sonic games are a bit.....odd. Shadow the Hedgehog got an 8/10, wtf?

But if you aren't subscribed, they ask you EVERY TIME YOU GO TO THEIR STORE if you wanna subscribe. Kinda annoying.
Maybe at the one you go to, but never even once has any of the GameStops i go to asked me if i wanted to subscribe, even if i don't happen to be using my Edge card.
I subscribe to both, both are great in my opinion. I also have Playstation magazine too which covers well playstation. I love those guys at Nintendo power i always will they have mucho personality.
