I have currently read an article from Anonymous in Gameinformer's latest issue. Anonymous wrote: Why are you guys so biased and dishonest? Give some credit to Nintendo for once! I'm a huge Nintendo fan, and you don't give their games fair reviews. You put them down because you assume Ninteno is for nerds. On the other hand, you guys worship Xbox 360 and PS3 because thats what cool people play. Thats a totally unfair bias............. You should be ashamed, and also should be well known for your obsession with being "cool," at least by your definition and standards. I subscibe to Nintendo Power as well, and I gotta admit: They are much more fair and honest about their games. And "being cool" does not monopolize their lives. That's why all gamers should choose them over you any day!
Wow, that person is serious! They're throwing out some pretty extreme comments. I used to have a subscription to Game Informer, but I kinda just let it expire. It was informative, but they did have very little Nintendo content. I'm mainly a NIntendo fan, so I subscribe to Nintendo Power now. It's definitely the magazine for anything and everything Nintendo, and they do their share of cool things too.
My vote is for Nintendo Power. I have had a subscription off and on (mostly off...) for twenty years. I have read other gaming rags and the Nintendo love just isn't there. The same can be said for gaming websites too. So at the end of the day I read my Nintendo Power and my NintendoLife. By the way, get ready to flame me, Punch Out!! only deserves a 7/10 anyway. Nintendo or not, I think that game sucks.
I would've told "Anonymous" to suck it up, Princess. Just because most of the games Nintendo has that aren't called Mario, Zelda or Metroid feel like they have been developed by Corky from Life Goes On doesn't mean that Nintendo is for nerds (whatever the hell he meant by that), but just shows that most of their games don't have the care put in them that many games on other systems seem to have. I mean if you're happy with Mii Birthday Dance Party, great, but it won't touch Red Dead Redemption when it's time for reviews by people who have been gaming since before the PS1 unlike many Wii owners who started gaming when Oprah had the Wii on her set or Beyonce pretended to play the DS.
I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.
I should be ashamed, but I haven't read a gaming mag in a couple of years. Well the Retro Gamer that I contributed to not long ago I did pick up a copy of, but that's about it. Is Nintendo Power still pretty good?
Mr. Anonymous is just P.O. that Gaminformer didnt give NSMBWii and Galaxy 2 a 10 but instead they got a 9.25. GI also just gave Nintendo best in show of E3 and 3DS a 6 page hype section wich was more than double either MOVE or Kinect. Mr. Anonymous is what I like to call a FANBOY!
Game Informer...can't really say anything about them. I've only gotten one issue for a Smash Bros. Brawl article....but I don't see how they could be THAT biased sicne that was the ame issue they "voted" Mario "Man of the Year." Nintendo Power I subscribe to, and while some issues are awesome (like last issue) a few of them just have nothing in them I want to read....because all they talked about were games I didn't find appealing.

For the most part, yes. Their letter responces are funny, their news is good and informative, their Playback section is awesome, and they delve into the Nintendo Fan Base alot. The only problem I have is their reviews; they're either too generous or too harsh.
Well if you like Nintendo Power better than Game Informer than why are you reading Game Informer. Thats like me saying I hate Big Macs and Whoppers are better but I am eating a Big Mac.
I was a subscriber to Nintendo Power back when it first came out, my first issue had Megaman 2 on the cover. I stopped subscribing to NP back in the N64 era but thats because I was more into Playstation and Saturn. So I went with a subscription with EGM and OPM for reviews on PS games and Saturn games. The point being Nintendo Power is just for Nintendo the other magazines are for all systems. Of course Nintendo Power is going to have better reviews on Nintendo games.
This was obviously a trolling attempt.
