Topic: Free Trackmania Nations Forever

Yaaay, coursework over for the year. I'll probably be on Trackmania quite a lot over the next couple of weeks. Username on there is Raylax if you wanna add me.
Can anyone give me some quick info on how online mode with people in the buddy list works? Just wait for a friend to be on a server then join it too? Or do you have to set up... something? I dunno, not done Trackmania online before

Right, I'm gonna race a bit. I'll add you whilst there Raylax. As for your question, yes, in your friend list it will show if anyone is mid-race. Then just click on 'em to join.

We need an NL TM server, that'd be awesome Maybe we could get people to make classic Mario Kart and F-Zero tracks for it XD
Some of the 2D F-Zero tracks'd probably work pretty well in TM, actually...

That was fun Raylax and SS14, thanks. I think you are onto something there. I'll look into getting us a server, so we can fill it with all our favourite tracks, and any Nintendo related ones we manage to create. Great idea!

Oh hell yeah! That would be awesome. I'm not much of an editor but I know people who play Trackmania aren't crazy enough to duplicate a fav track from the likes of F-Zero or Mario Kart!

I want one of those cars. Are they compatible with Nations Forever or do you need United Forever? Where do you get them from?

And yeah, I might try to remake some F-Zero tracks in TM
It'd be cool (completely impossible in every sense, obviously) if you could just port tracks straight from MK. I'd like to see the TM cars being blasted up DK Mountain

Wow how much do I suck at the track editor.
But yeah. SNES F-Zero Mute City 1. Takes about 24 seconds to get around.

Changed the recovery thing to a slanted boost pad section, and put a jump in (in F-Zero there's a jump pad there, apparantly)

Oh cool! I wanna see if I can recreate the Mario Kart DS version of Rainbow Road, but that would take a while.

Anyways, I'm about to head on? Anyone up for a race or two?
