No, it will be 2 lazy sequels called Assassin's Creed: (insert cool word here) where they throw cool new crap into the game and hope it's 60 dollars worth and have longer credits than every movie released that year combined (since they need that many people to make a competent game every year). And then the real sequel. And then repeat for all eternity! They'll also stretch a storyline for so long Dragonball Z would be ashamed. HISTORICAL FANSERVICE! CLIFFHANGERS! It's always the Animus/it's always a conspiracy.
Now, before the fight, how did we all agree we should attack the guy?
All together!
And how did we attack?
One at a time..
If you're gonna make fun of the series, at least get it right.
I think they have over 1000 people working on the series. After two that team started work on 3 while a new team worked on brotherhood and revalationa.
Want the next game in WWII where you have to play as two assisans. One in Germany trying to stop Hitler's occult research (piece of Eden) and the other infiltrating the Manhattan project.
WAT!

Yep, and that 1000 people are spread across studios all over the world. Five or six different studios worked on Revelations.
Which is a big part of the reason this series sucks beyond belief now.
But it also means Double the profits and with Assassins Creed, Just Dance being their only big heavy hitters they need it.
I'm still confused how they let the Tom Clancy universe get so horrible. Instead of the small somewhat refrences to other games all games under that Umbrella should be in the same Universe. Also as much as I hate it they really need to reboot all those series. I mean Sam Fisher is pushing late 50s in the game story. Hoping when the newest one is shown (between now and E3) they restsrt the series back to its roots.
But Ubisoft is a company in Disarry. If your Name isn't Jade Raymond or Michael Ancel expect to be shifted or even fired if your game doesn't do well or goes in a "controversial direction".
WAT!

Splinter Cell Conviction was the last game exclusive to 360, that was retail, that wowed me.
Edit: So I think if Tom Clancy keeps making games like that, we're good.
Yeah But i mean make the games more connected. I do love Conviction though. Like in the Old GTA's where you could do a mission with characters from the last game. Saw your playing a Ghost Recon Game and you run into conflicts with a splinter cell who needs the same information as you.
Also I'm wondering if the next splinter cell is going to be exclusive.

Oh, I understand why Assassin's Creed has a yearly cycle, but I really don't agree with it. A game of that scale on such a tight schedule is likely to be ruined (and Revelations was a ruined game), and the customer burn out is going to be significant. The franchise will lose its AAA status fairly quickly, and then stop selling well.
Ubisoft has a few valuable IPs - Prince of Persia, Rayman (yes the last one sold badly, but it's still valuable), and they've got a strong heritage in mobile gaming thanks to the relationship with Gameloft. There is no need to do a yearly AC.
I know this is old, but AC3 is coming out. The trailer looked so awesome. Who else is excited? Also, the trailer gave me an idea: would you like a short Assassin's Creed 3 movie (30 minutes or so)? Because the trailer was entertaining to me, though dragging it out a lot might get boring.
Beat AC1 which was good except for some design flaws. Currently playing AC Brotherhood, which has better gameplay but the story isn't as good to me.
AC3 looks great, so I'll look forward to picking it up.
I'll be ticked if they don't fix graphics pop-ins though. Walking about 10 feet and having large shadows and even whole buildings appear suddenly is super distracting.
^ What system are you playing it on? I don't think I've ever had that happen before. :/

It's on PS3. It's less noticeable on Brotherhood but still happens. For example, near the beginning of the game I got to town and started doing chores for some citizens, and I see the little fountain with stairs next to it on both sides. As I get closer, the shadows pop up. As I get even closer, the Assassin logo appears on it and gets more detailed.

I also am playing through Brotherhood on PS3 right now and had some weird glitches. I was climbing a Borgia Tower and I randomly fell through the tower into just a blank white space. Another time I jumped out of a bale of hay, fell through the ground, and ended up in a swimming animation with everything from the game visible above me. I could still swim around the entire map but couldn't interact.
