ASSASSINS IN AMERICA! Yes!

I'll be honest, I'm a huge fanboy for this series. Revelations was essentially the same game for the 3rd time with some very questionable decisions made with the game, and it was still one of my favorite games from last year.

I just love everything about these games (at least outside of 1's major flaws). The gameplay, the look, the historical fiction, the plot, the characters, the soundtrack. Everything just works. Literally my only problem with the game is that instead of creating both of those half-sequels to Assassin's Creed 2, one of them should have just been a game with a ton of those awesome linear levels where you either go through tons of enemies or climbs around a giant building for forever or use technology that is laughably too advanced.

Interesting. The series was stagnating a bit so let's hope the new setting will bring in some fresh ideas as well. I think I'll keep an eye on this one.

Never played it, but it really looks good. Anything you could compare it to?? I'm a pretty big Nintendo fan boy to be honest, so if there is anything in that world that could compare to it, it might make sense to me. I do have a 360 too now though.

I have only played II and got my whole Assassin's Creed fix but the American Revolution setting has certainly got me intrigued.

As great as all this seems, The American Revolution is a great setting, I hope there is gonna be enough focus on Desmond so its a fitting end.

My sister kept telling me its like Zelda...lol. I dunno why she says that. xD
But she wants me to get into it, but eh...I dunno. I may look into the Wii U one.

I love the AC games. I was wondering what direction they'd take with Ezio & Altair's stories being done, but i was totally NOT expecting this! Very cool.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one. lol

We all know it's about to go down. I hope this is as good as the previous games. Though I probobly won't get it for a while.

I have a question.

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is having a 50% off sale on PSN if you're subscribed to PS Plus (30% off sale if you're not subscribed to PS Plus). I have been wanting to try an Assassin's Creed game for quite awhile, but I'm afraid I won't understand Brotherhood's story without playing Assassin's Creed I and II first. So is Brotherhood friendly for newcomers of the series, or should I start with Assassin's Creed I?

Oh, and Assassin's Creed III looks effing sweet. It's not too often that you see games taking place during the American Revolution.

start with the 2nd game. I think basically everyone agrees on this.

Ehh. I personally enjoy the First Game and don't really see it as a bad game. (I mean its good for a 2007 early HD game, of course the sequel will be better. Mostly because I really enjoy the Crusades time period. But Yeah unless you have sometime start with 2 or wait till the summer. Replayed 1 last Year and I forget how much of a massive time sink it is. The Game is extremely long with filler here and there. So watch the cutscenes on youtube and get 2.

And next year they'll announce Assassins Creed IV: Assassins In Space.
