You could always play on one of the many RP servers on G-Mod or Minecraft Minecraft is a necessity, even if you don't want to play multiplayer. I did recently check it out, but it was a bit laggy at the time.

Yes, I am downloading it as I speak... I warn you... it's a big file... might take you overnight. Idk if this is how all big MMOs are. I really wanted to play DC Universe but I don't have money for a subscription and Champions Online became free a few weeks ago. DC Universe, City of Heroes, and Champions Online (made by the same people who made City of Heroes) are the only Super Hero MMOs out there, (that I know of).

I have to say I am indeed a fan of MMORPGs, but have an issue with the free-to-play tag. Quite often the F2P content will be so limited that you end up having to fork out to get access to better instances, levels, weaponry etc... Hmm might give this browser game a try though!

I too was worried about having less content because of some F2P games having "microtransactions." Luckily, my MMO of choice (Global Agenda) only has what are known as "boosters" for optional microtransactions. Basically, if you buy the 30, 60, or 90 day booster, you can get increased XP and level up your character faster. Other than that, the rest of the game is truly free to play.
Also, I got my Wakfu key, signed up, claimed my key, and did everything necessary to download the game, but the game's download page says to input a username and password. I enter my info, and it doesn't seem to accept it D:
Star Wars Old Republic definitely has a monthly fee.. It also looks like another uninspired WoW clone. I like that they're putting effort into the story but then it may as well have been KotOR 3. Every single aspect of the game is being outdone by Guild Wars 2 - it looks to have better gameplay, balance, graphics, story, voice acting, quests.. AND it's free to play.
Dragon Nest looks interesting but I'm not sure I'd call it a must play.

Well I've seen Star Wars The Old Republic and I think that it will do well. I've signed up for the beta testing but I haven't gotten a key or anything yet. I know the game could be better but I prefer Star Wars The Old Republic over Star Wars Galaxies any day. I'm not so concerned about how one game can beat out that game or whatever. I simply like a game that has great game play and nice visuals and a colorful palette. I played World of Warcraft via the 15 day trial and it wasn't a disappointment but I don't think I should spend money on it when there are so many high quality F2P games and besides I plan on buying the Dragon Nest starter pack this summer and I think Dragon Nest is like 100 times better than Warcraft as I've also played the Dragon Nest demo.
I don't know much about Guild Wars 2 although I've seen people playing Guild Wars 1 and I didn't like it one bit. Is Guild Wars 2 better than Guild Wars 1? If anything I'd like to try Final Fantasy 14 but I don't know if it's P2P or F2P nor do I know if there are any Prepaid Game Cards for it. I've also tried Free Realms and I can't say good or bad about it as I only played it for like less than two minutes lol. I think I might give LEGO Universe a try though. I've read a lot of good reviews from it in various magazines like PC World and nVidia.
